Hilton San Diego/Del Mar

Check into the room and there was trash and left over boxers in the room. Mistakes happen but then the AC didnt work. We left early. Very disappointing because we love staying in Del Mar.

What a great find! We needed just an overnight stay because we were going to a concert in Solana Beach. This hotel is in a great location. About a mile south is downtown Del Mar with so many food choices. About a mile north is Solana beach and everything that town has to offer. I am not into horse racing but the race track is right across the street! Aside from being conveniently located, the property is very well maintained - very clean and inviting. Our room was larger than expected and also very clean. We will definitely stay here again for a quick Del Mar weekend.

Bad

Room was clean and comfortable. The outside sitting area was nice at night to chill and hangout, although a staff member came through without saying a word to anyone turning off all the fire pits around 9 pm. It would have been nicer if they at least waited until 10 pm. The property is nice but definitely needs some updating and the elevators are very small. For the price we paid for our room I was expecting more.

They were not busy but put me in a freeway view room.The bed was great and the hit tub. parking was additional $25 Not worth it.The automatic gates did not work properly. Overall property is good location good staff but less than average experience.

Everything was excellent. Beautiful inside and out. Everyone was so friendly. Great location.

The property and the staff are always great and we love coming back each year.

Clean and spacious room. Staff was great. Room was noisy all night. Not sure if it was just that room.

Got a 2 queen overlooking the pool, paid extra to have my dog in the room. After an hour or so in the room, my socks were wet.found a damp spot in the carpet between the beds. Kinda gross. Other than that, the hotel was excellent per usual

Great experience

Great hotel. Very quiet and family friendly and close to very cute coastal towns/legoland. The only reason I’m not giving it more stars is the restaurant/bar was so incredibly slow on a weekday evening and the parking was directly under trees with bugs dropping down (after research it seemed like larvae of some kind).

This place is definitely a little outdated. But the rooms are spacious, clean and the people are great. Overall we had a great stay and it's close driving distance to everything North and South of here. We would definitely stay here again.
