This was one of our favorite stays on bout summer family trip. We loved waking up on the beach everyday. The rooms and whole facility was super clean and the staff friendly and accommodating.

The property was conveniently located on the beach. Parking was not guaranteed. Had to drive around for at least 10 minutes to find a spot. The room itself was ok. The remodel was not the best.

We were greeted in the cheerful lobby by an enthusiastic front desk person who offered up complimentary rosé. The room was simple and clean. My only criticism is the less than fluffy pillows, thin towels and the door the bathroom door that didn’t quite latch. There was an in room keurig, but we preferred the fancy complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. Side note - there was also a “bar” with a brewer and wine for sale. There was no bottled water but there was a pitcher that you could bring to the lobby for purified water. The back patio was right there in the beach. It featured plenty of loungers and high chairs facing the water. There was a ledge in front of the high chairs where we enjoyed little sunset picnics. My only criticism here - if you wanted the loungers you might be looking at the backs of the people in the high chairs. Beyond the ideal proximity to the water, the hotel itself is located within walking distance to the park and a main drag with tons of restaurants. Our favorite was An’s Hat Shop - the best ice cream ever! There was plenty of parking and we were so close to Solana Beach and Encinitas as well. Such quaint beach towns without any over crowding! There is a local train that passes but we barely noticed it when we were in our room. If you are looking for a romantic beach getaway this is the place!

Perfect location, easy parking, walking distance to everything and staff were amazing! Steve and the team so helpful with bags and check-in. We will definitely stay here again.

Had ample supplies of beach needs: towels, beach chairs, mats, umbrellas…no need to bring these things! Had a little bar next to their patio with a view of the ocean!

Thos is a perfect combination of location and quality.

The only thing that surprised us was that parking is somewhat limited, but it was manageable and did not significantly affect our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
