This is a hotel my children have frequented since they were babies, so it’s truly heartbreaking to watch it steadily fall into disrepair.

The staff was really great from check in to leaving. My first time in Desert Hot Springs for a short trip from SD and I loved it. The pools were really nice, we had direct access to the pools from our room, the housekeeping came by quick with pillows when I requested more. It’s a little older but charming, the A/C blew warm the second night and only cool the first which was a bit uncomfortable but we only stayed 2 nights. Also the Italian restaurant on the property has delicious breakfast.

ac in room was good and cold.

It was nice that they let you use the facilities while you waited for your room It looks like no one ever picked up a rake and raked up around the planners. There was a lot of debris in the pools cups. It would look a lot better if someone would rake up the GD on the ground, put some lines in it from the rake and picked up all the trash and debris before it gets into the pool.

Large spacious property with many pools. But they weren’t real mineral pools. You have to pay extra for that and that’s indoors. Your property is nice. The best part about the property or the pool pools and the lobby but the rooms they need to be updated but at least it was clean slightly dingy but at least still clean. Our TV didn’t work. All we have was commercial commercials that sucked I didn’t feel like going to talk to staff about it either.

An ok resort when on a budget. Still looks like from the -70, but clean. That said, pool and rooms soon need a major overhaul.

The carpets are old, very dirty and smell.
-
Pools are nice and clean warm water A good deep cleaning, to the facility rug and the room rug

It was generally okay to stay if you want a cheaper alternative.

I will give 5 star to pools and amenities for the resort. You always have an acces to a cold spring water to drink near the pools. Pools are nive clean, pleasant to spent long time in them. There is no daily housekeeping if it is important to you. I personally like to do an exchange of towels or ask for shampoo or anything else rather than someone coming and cleaning my place. We stayed at a poolside, the floors very nice( not - carpet), but the floors weren't clean. Bedding was clean which is very important for me. They have a microwave, reftegerator and tables with chairs. I love to bring my food with me which work so grate. The doors from halfway to pools was dirty. I love this place but they need to do better cleaning. I personally always take cleaning solutions for bathtub and toilet t I this kind of hotels to make my stay more pleasant.

The warm water, cool evening air, and good conversation made it the perfect way to unwind after a long week. The hotel is also very convenient, making the whole experience easy and relaxing. A great place for a getaway with friends or family!

Emery the head manager was very friendly and accommodating! Kia at the bar was awesome as well! Beautiful property with amazing natural desert spring pools. Love the sauna as well.

I loved the Air conditioning in the room… the pools & the trees were beautiful! I didn’t get to try the restaurant this time… It seemed a little sketchy , there was some people hanging around not sure how in this heat… seems a bit run down… needs a revamping… the main pool was a but warm for my liking…

Very reasonable place for the price

Restaurant prices were very fair and tasted great. We enjoyed it but it is not for everyone. You get what you pay for in a stay.
