The motor of the a/c in our room had to be replaced by engineer, we left for dinner and after 7 hours we returned to our room to find it feeling like a sauna and a floor fan in room. Told staff to get us refund they said they were unable to. Then changed room into a room that smelled like mildew. I had to change rooms a 3 rd time and it didn’t have an ocean view like my initial booking had. I didnt leave because it was already 3:30AM. I’m so disappointed because it was my birthday and we wanted to relax , but instead had frustration and bad memories.

The rooms and bathrooms need to be updated. Our food took to long to arrive at least an hour

My main complaint is that the bathrooms in your rooms do not have locks. For as nice as the hotel is, this should be updated. It’s a barn door with no lock on it. The restaurants at the hotel saved the day because if you went somewhere else, you had over an hour wait time. And the food and service was good at the hotel. Pools are nice but could be cleaned throughout the day because they get dirty so quick with all the traffic coming in and out.

Staff went above and beyond Refrigerator in room wasn’t working and needed to be replaced. They replaced it but left the broken one in the room for our entire stay. Also sunk in bathroom was leaking underneath. Checked in and room wasn’t ready so had to come back. Drink prices out of control

We stay here every trip to Destin and love it. The best part is the private beach so it’s not as crowded as right next door at the public beach.

The hotel allows beach chair reservations 3-4 months in advance so when you arrive you cant rent. They allow people to place towels at pool at 6 am and you have to fight just to sit at pool. Breakfast is 35 an adult which would be fine if they offered better selection. Room was great! We did have to beg for towels everyday, tissue paper never filled and ran out, shampoo empty. Overall house keeping lacks. Parking is easy. Arriving they do not let you use a hotel cart to load, you have to do haul by hand or use the bell hop which always has his hand out. Hotel not really great for kids, no activities by pool, no games or face painting, no pool store to but pool toys etc.. this is all good news if you are looking for more of an adult type location, we just traveled with small kids,
