Red Roof Inn & Suites Detroit-Melvindale/ Dearborn

I am not happy about this hotel Standard !

The breakfast was the worse, coffee was cold, from the night before in the lobby. The bagels were hard as a rock.

Staff was unprofessional and rude. Management was rude. They wouldn’t accept standard ID and when we switched our accommodation to meet their standard (per their request) they claimed the new registration was not coming up. Could not recommend this place less as the staff and management couldn’t be less professional. Awful experience had to find a new place at 2am as they refused to allow us entry despite paying up front for 3 rooms for a week.

The location They had cockroaches, staff members were extremely rude and lied. and did nothing about the cockroaches when I told them that they were there I had to buy my own bug spray that night from Walmart and when I asked to have my room switch the next night, they wanted me to leave the hotel and ultimately, they lied and said that I intentionally damaged the property I am a quadriplegic and older gentlemen, as is my girlfriend they kept my money as I am homeless, and I had planned to move in there for a while, and as soon as I found out about the bugs and discreetly asked to have my room moved because I have to be transported by EMS they kept my money and refused to allow me to stay.

this place was a dump

Location Breakfast was bare minimum nothing that was displayed online. Pool was extremely cold should have stated online not heated. Room HAD huge roaches. Staff did not care at all.

The fact that this location is still being advertised on Expedia is alarming! This location is uninhabitable! PERIOD!! DON'T DO IT!! You have been warned!!

I did like the fact that it wasn’t too far and if you need to go to the store, is there something close back what I didn’t like? Was the pool water smelled like mildew our air-conditioning cut off and in the middle of the night begin to have a burning smell we also had kill roaches. I won’t return to this space
