False advertisement and rude staffing

I make the trip from western Kentucky to Cocoa Beach, FL, at least once a year. Dothan is our halfway point. This is the cleanest stop we have ever stayed in, in the 10 years I have made this trek.

Pleasant

It was basic room with basic amenities.

Disappointing

Rooms were up to date clean and very quiet and peaceful great location close to shopping food walmart and easy access for 231 south to Panama City Beach. About a hour away.

Very good

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the mattress in my room had a dip in it making the bed uneven to sleep on. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.

Water in the sink ran very slow

The room smelled like an old gym sock and the bathroom was even worse. The good news the bug in the bathroom was dead, might have been from the smell.

The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a last minute stop due to driving 15 hours and needed a rest before finishing the last 6 hours and it is perfect for things like that.

Breakfast is not “breakfast” it was honey buns and granola bars.

All was well! Just the pool wasn’t in order. If that was the case it needs to taken off. Everything else was nice. Suggest this facility for traveling.
