SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbus Dublin

Well - the item that I am going to write the most about is not directly under their control but I think informing their guests about it is under their control and they didn't do anything about that and that is why they only get 3 stars and should likely get only 2 stars, but again it is not under their direct control so 3 stars it is. Now that I have explained my rating, here is my review. The hotel itself is wonderful. However, the walls are paper thin and basically, when people are using the bathroom next door, it literally sounds like they are in your room. The real issue is the construction in the area that they know about and have several notes in your room about with ear plugs and sound machines to counter. Is it their fault - NO. Not informing people of it in the booking information - YES. Very deceitful in my mind if you are looking for peace and quiet. Having to shove orange earplugs into my ears at night is not an acceptable solution to the construction issue. However, outside of that the hotel would have received either a 4 star or 5 star rating from me. However, buyer beware surprises like that get you a very 3 star rating in my mind and luckily the hotel itself was convenient and very nice to keep you from receiving a 2 star rating. When the construction is finally completed, it is a 4 to 5 star rating. However, based on do not say anything unless directly asked attitude is a black eye to your reputation.

Unfriendly front desk staff. Requests to make the room were ignored despite multiple calls. Must park away from hotel.

I will stay here again but they need to improve the bedding and pillows

Have no idea. They were booked and Booking is a fraudulent site. Did not stay here even though I paid Booking to stay here. There was no reservation for me here. Booking stole my money

Clean, quiet, location Ordered a Jr king suite. Was comparable to an average size king room at other hotels

Parking was safe. Breakfast was a bit heavy on the carbs, and loved the innovated ideas of egg bites and yogurt bar. Great idea! Can’t wait to come back.

The breakfast selection was somewhat limited and could be improved, particularly the hot food options. It would also be nice to have more variety, such as including turkey instead of having all the meats be similar.

Rooms were spacious, clean and good breakfast. Some construction going on around building, but noise cancelling machine was available in the room.

Location was what made the experience. Located in such a pretty, lively area of Dublin. Walking distance to the pedestrian bridge and surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Hotel was what we expected from a SpringHill Suites - was clean and friendly.

Clean and room was spacious

The breakfast menu lacked for anyone with allergies. Staff was very kind and helpful, the room was very clean, smelled a little odd but clean. And parking was easy

I Lived everything about this hotel.I look forward to staying again.

Parking was easy and free next to the hotel in a garage. The rooms were extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Provided all the necessary bathroom essentials. The continental breakfast was also one of the nicest displays I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Honestly minimal complaints whatsoever. The area is expanding so there was some construction noise at times, but they even provided complementary ear plugs.
