Sonesta Select Atlanta Duluth

Upon my online reservation, the hotel did not meet my expectations. Upon entering the lobby, it appeared somewhat clean. However, as I proceeded to the elevator after check-in, the elevator itself resembled an abandoned building. Upon ascending to the fourth floor, the air was heavily scented with cigarette smoke, which intensified upon entering the room. I had reserved two rooms and checked in late, leaving me with insufficient energy to attempt switching rooms and exploring other rooms for similar odors. The sink for the bathroom was propped up with mold and the fire alarm sensor was taken down when it should have been mounted onto the ceiling. I approached the front desk to request a room change, but the alternative room, which was also heavily scented with smoke, had an additional odor of wet carpet or mildew. This experience was one of the most disappointing reservations I have encountered, as appearances can be deceiving, particularly when photographs are not regularly updated. While the room is spacious enough to accommodate six people, the extent of damage and stains suggests a lack of maintenance. It appears that the hotel prioritizes profit over the upkeep of its facilities. There is no valid justification for the neglect of maintenance if they plan to keep the business up and running.

I would like to get a full refund this hotel is the worst I’ve ever seen in my history of going to hotels it come like it’s a crack house

Room clean

Dirty and funky rooms lazy staff

See previous review. You will find interesting!

My room was clean although I had to critique some things however minor. The hotel itself well the characters who stay at the hotel are very interesting and that's all I got to say about that! My floor is quiet and the halls are clean. I don't understand why they have two elevators and only one of them works but sometimes does not. I dislike that part very much!

Looks like they only changed the sheets. Everything is dirty and smells stinky, especially a smoky smell... cockroaches in the bathroom

Great value for money

Everything good tal clean

Very good

NOTHING it was dirty, smelled awful, staff were inattentive, the room itself had a dirty diaper by the door, and a brown strain on the sheets and hair. 0/10! I wouldn’t suggest my WORST enemy stay here

Nothing and been trying to get a refund and checked out early Everything the word die was carved on the door there were stains everywhere

We arrived and our room was not clean - it was cleaned but not clean - drink residue on night table and chips in pullout - changed rooms not much better - coming off elevator to a mound of trash 6-7 bags and piles of dirty towels. We ended up canceling the rest of our stay and changing hotels.

Don’t. Lake. Hotel

Ok spot

Price

The staff was friendly, price was reasonable, and location was great Mold in carpet, bed mattress, headboard and night tables dirty. Spotted a few roaches going under the old worn wall paper. The tile in shower dirty, the lighting was poor and the elevator was extremely slow.
