Super 8 by Wyndham Duluth

I stayed at Super 8 in Sept 2026 and have stayed there many times in the past 8 years or so. Always a comfortable bed and clean rooms, etc. I was also able to get a room on main floor due to number of valuable items I bring in from my vehicle. Prices on weekends have become insane. I would typically stay a Fri and Sat night which is what I have done up until the past few years. When booking my resent visit, it would have cost me around $460 to do so. I ultimately took 2 days off from work (a Thursday and Friday) and could only stay the one night which was $107. Its frustrating I can't afford to stay on the weekend so I can visit local friends because the cost has become so unbelievably high.

The hotel itself was clean and up to date. The issue is the hotel also serves as a long term housing for what appears to be gang members. They hang around the parking lot during the day. I was concerned they were casing the lot for unlocked cars. A broken car sitting on jackstands was seen in the parking lot. On our stay they were arguing in the parking lot at 3am in the morning very loudly. The room a/c could not hide their volume. Didn’t want to confront them for fear of being shot. Another patron tried to tell them to pipe down they ignored him.. Hotel staff acknowledged the long term stays but offered nothing for the poor experience. I would not recommend Expedia use this hotel until the long- term guests are removed.

This is by far “the BEST” Super 8 I’ve stayed at. Comfortable, clean, GREAT selection for breakfast and friendly!!! Keep up the great work! Highly recommend! Oh, and easy access to I35 and going to Canal Park.

The rooms were nice and clean fridge and bathroom and showers good Initially the carpet smell and dogs barking but both challenges seemed to dissipate once we came back for the night after supper. Very good night sleep and breakfast was very sufficient

We stayed here on a 2 day getaway. Very friendly staff and the room was nice. Perkins was next door. Right off the interstate and surprisingly very quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.

I left a power cord in my room. When I discovered it gone I called motel. They put me on hold for a while and came back and said they could not find it. Few minutes later Jordan called me and said they found it. So I went back the next day and got it. Really appreciate the team. Also glad I had left the cleaning staff a tip.
