Super 8 by Wyndham Duluth

The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. Breakfast was great. Had nice variety. Lot of available parking.

The staff was super helpful & friendly but they say no smoking but the hallway and room smelled like stale smoke…beds were. Hard too!

The room was very clean and comfortable.

We were there 3 nights, and staff never cleaned our room or brought more towels. Yes, I could have called, but I kept coming back each day thinking, okay, they will be in tomorrow. It is just something nice about a comfortable hotel, to come back from a day of sightseeing and have a clean room and fresh towels. Three nights and no service just seems wrong. However, the tip envelope was there. I like to tip and try to tip well, I know how hard these jobs are. But in this case, there was no service, so why the tip envelope? The gentleman at check-in was very nice, at check-in although rushed to clean a room for someone on the phone. With that said, I am used to also be greeted when I walk into the lobby...after I check in, no one bothered to say hello or good morning, it was very uncomfortable especially when the clerk and I were the only people in the lobby. I always spoke first and greeted them. The tables of men smoking at the entrance every night made the entrance uninviting. The smoke smell was horrible. What if you have a guest with asthma or another respiratory illness? Do they have to smoke right at the front entrance?

Okay place to stay but overpriced. Mediocre.

The outside temperature was in the 60s at night, so it shouldn't have been too difficult to cool the room down, but it took most of the night for the small air conditioner to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Plus, the room air conditioner was so loud, we had to put the tv volume on 40 to hear it (over the air conditioner). When I went to take a shower, I took the shower mat (the cloth/towel mat) off the rack and noticed it was slightly damp. I thought maybe they took it out of the dryer before it was completely dry. When I placed it on the floor beside the tub, I noticed it was dirty. So, they must have simply folded it and placed it back on the shelf after the last guest. On the bright side, the people at the front counter were courteous, I guess. There was plenty of parking (we were there mid-week). And breakfast was fine - microwave breakfast sandwiches, toaster waffles, cereal & muffins.

Great stay

Room is not cleaned if staying more then one day. We used the card requesting room service. Staff didn't care about our concern. Never staying here again. I would not recommend this place to anyone else.

over priced for this kind of hotel

This hotel was really very clean, staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was good size with lots of choices. Parking was adequate. I felt safe. would highly recommend staying there if your in Duluth.
