Motel 6 Duluth, MN

Was clean - I wanted 1st floor but they gave me 2nd and steps are difficult for me with luggage

The room was clean but clearly old. T h ere are virtually no amenities. There are two floors and no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The lady who checked me in was very helpful and pleasant but on the second day I climbed the stairs carrying two armloads of stuff including awkward hiking sticks,, only to find that neither key card to my room worked. So I had to haul everything back downstairs to the desk and wait for the desk clerk to finish checking in a customer to get the key cards rekeyed before hauling it all back up the stairs. Needless to say, I was quite annoyed at being locked out of my room, and said so. The desk clerk didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience and was not pleasant. He acted like he was entitled to be rude to me for daring to be irritated. I would never stay there again.

I listed the bad and good,(which is only fair) but the only reason we didn't leave to find a different hotel was we both were totally exhausted! I would never stay at that hotel again, and we are most likely done with Motel 6.

The staff was nice and friendly. Property was okay. It was nice enough for our stay. Air Conditioner worked welled.

The mattress was not good. Was not a good sleeping night. No coffee maker.

I personally like my room and how pain it was plus the staff are very helpful. I raid some reviews that talks about the smell, but that was not an issue for me because there was no found smell. For the price I think it is very good and good location too.

Carrying our luggage up to the second floor - was interesting!

Well it was a motel 6 not much to be expected was clean and his staff was good. The area not so great

Quiet The floor was dirty. Couldn't walk around without shoes without my feet getting really dirty.

This is a really utilitarian sort of Motel, but it is really well maintained and the rooms are well designed and comfortable. The bed was top quality, the bathroom is large and clean, and the A/C was quiet and effective.

Clean & convenient

Location was great. Room was nice sized and I think it may have been a smoking room because Ash trays were provided. We couldn't get in any doors because the key readers weren't working. We had to go through the front door and our room was way in the back

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, the A/C kept everything perfectly cool, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness. From check‑in to check‑out, everyone made me feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again.

Horrible. The only hotel I have very left. Holes in the wall - gap of 1/2” Worst hotel ever

Room was nice and clean, very basic and simple, walking distance to a couple very good restaurants in breweries. Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was super friendly and when the parking lot was full when I returned from my event the staff member was nice to show me where I could park. Thanks for seamless night stay!

Good place, worked out well for us

The room was well maintained. The lobby smelled like cigarettes. The team member who checked me in was helpful. The back of the bathroom door (from inside the bathroom) appeared to have a chunk damaged or missing.
