Motel 6 Duluth, MN

Very good

Overall, it was a nice room. The tub was a little small. And it needed a little better lighting in the bathroom.

Exceptional

The location was close to the attractions in Duluth. The sink was clogged an not working properly. The floors were dirty. My socks looked like I was wearing them outside. I had a broken tv remote, spent a half hour going back and forth to my room till I got one that worked.

Every think was ok

For a standard Motel 6, it was as expected. Staff was helpful, and check-in was early and quick. Extremely conveniently located. The only complaint was that one of the entry doors didn't open from the outside.

I like the location and the price

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room, close to the freeway. I would definitely stay at this motel again. It was a great place.

As soon as we checked in, we noticed a really bad smell throughout the entire hallway. Unfortunately, our room smelled bad too — it smelled like dirty, sweaty socks. At that point, we wanted to leave and stay at a different hotel, but when we asked for a refund, they refused. So we had no choice but to stay. We had to wake up early the next morning, but around midnight, the guests in the room above us started moving their beds and nightstands around. The noise was extremely loud and went on for about an hour. We were completely woken up and couldn’t get back to sleep. We went to the front desk and explained the situation, but nothing was done to fix the problem. We barely got any sleep that night. Between the terrible smell and the noise, this was an awful experience. Definitely NOT recommended!!!

Location Pricey for weekend

The room was nice and clean. It looked much newer than the last time I stayed there. The area is a bit sketchy. Lots of activity around the hotel...people smoking and talking loudly.

Room cleanliness was ok. Parking and access was easy.

I thought we had reservations at one property, to find out we had them at the Aspen lodge. So when we tried to check in, we were early and we were told that we could not. I got frustrated at the run around and lack of flexibility. I did get steamed and left. Ten minutes later they called and canceled our reservation. Not a good place to do business with. Stay away

I moved here for a job and the job started before I found a lease the staff is friendly and professional. It's been a good experience. Kinda expensive 1400 for 2 weeks.
