Motel 6 Duluth, MN

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Area was a bit sketchy. Room was nice and clean but it was so bright that you couldn’t sleep. It was as bright as daytime. So many bright lights in the parking lot and the curtains did not help at all. Random people in the hall. Smell of pot all night long.

Stay here if you want to be in an unsafe neighborhood. I was offered drugs in the parking lot about 2 minutes after I arrived and promptly left

The gas station rarely is open because it's constantly it seems under repair. There is a Burger King nearby. Also a Kwik Trip and some restaurants and a liquor store. So this means it has what I may want close to me. As with other hotels the bed is too hard for my liking due to my back. But I will be returning.

The room had an odour, the bathroom fan smelled like cigarette smoke and the floor was dirty. Everything was grungy. Duluth hotel prices are astronomical and this hotel is over charging by $150 per night. My suggestion is to spend the extra and stay somewhere else.

Clean room. Staff very helpful.

Air conditioning did not work. Supposedly it was non-smoking but the room reeked with smoke. The tub had cigarette burns on it. The shower curtain was so brown and smoke filled that we could hardly enjoy the shower. When we put our suitcases in our car, the smoke filled it.

A good choice for the price.

The property is located very close to the main highway, making getting off and back on the highway to continue your journey very easy. There are a couple nice restaurants within walking distance which I really appreciated after driving all day. The motel itself is basic, clean and the staff very helpful. It was a great price. The bed and pillows were just the right amount of comphy.

Not comfortable bed wise and Location wise. Did Not feel Safe in that neighborhood. Especially for the price I was forced to pay.

OK overall. Stayed one night in two rooms. One of the beds had a sheet with a dark stain on it (black dirt?).

Not the best experience. Bathtub had a big crack with tape over it. Had to get new keys FOUR times. Asked for an extra pillow, took 2 hours to get one. Had to do laundry, charged more for bigger loads. Once we got through the wash, put everything in the dryer and it didn’t work. Asked the front desk for help, and was told “there’s a laundry mat down the street.” We air dried our clothes all night in our room. Would not stay here again.

Very nice stay. The restaurant next-door was amazing! The parking lot could use some refurbishing, but other than that it was a great day for the night.
