    Great place for the price

Parking lot was horrible ( lots of potholes and dirty)with sketchy men smoking marijuana and swearing in the parking lot, lots of homeless people on the sidewalk across the street, as single traveler with young children it was very uncomfortable and I didn’t feel safe. Had to ask the front desk where to park and where the elevator was and how to get there because she just checked me in and gave me no information. We wanted to enjoy the pool, but didn’t feel comfortable doing so because as we where on one of the floors trying to find the ice machine the hallways smelled like marijuana and you could hear people swearing in the hallways, rooms are super outdated, with cracks on the ceiling in the bathroom and lots of stains on the carpet, we found random hairs on a few of our washcloths.. nasty.. the toilet flushes up when you flush so the lid gets all wet when you flush and the garbage can was super rusted which notices because I was trying to get our garbage together before leaving. Next to the mini fridge was dirty with old rubber bands and lots of dust. The TV kept loosing signal so we couldn’t even watch anything consistently and you can’t stream anything on it. So definitely will never be staying here again, I thought because of the good name of Radiation it would be a good place. I was very wrong.

Air conditioning system did not cool well and although it was clean it does need an update. Because of where the location was, we expected this hotel to be much nicer than it was. Rooms need a renovation because they have not been updated in a while. We did enjoy the restaurant, Sky Harbor 360, the food and service was good.

Very dated. Parking area smelled like urine and weed. The floor we stayed on smelled like weed.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Carpets not well vacuumed in room and terrible in hallway. Bathrooms and rooms outdated, rust spots etc. People clearly smoking marijuana in rooms and hallway. Hallway smelled terrible which floated into our room. Obvious issue known by management as the hallways have glade plug ins in every outlet.

Great location close to Canal Park and other major destinations in Duluth. Parking was also super easy. Rooms felt a little dirty and the tv didn’t work super great. I don’t think there was any AC in the room because there was no temperature change felt after lowering the thermostat.

I booked this hotel for my parents to stay in while visiting Duluth and I would never recommend this place to anyone ever again. The property was outdated, so much that you can hear everything going on in or outside of the hotel. The rooms were very dated and probably haven’t been redone since 1990. The tub didn’t drain properly. Stains on the ceilings and carpet. Spiders outside on every window. Broken hot tub. Coffee maker in the room didn’t work properly. Needing to scan a QR code for certain things. A janky old parking lot. Extremely rude staff at the restaurant and not many food options. Uncomfortable beds. Homeless people siting outside of the hotel all day. Every single hallway smelled of marijuana and stale cigarettes. HVAC system in room was extremely loud. I am shocked that this hotel is still operating. My parents and I have stayed at many Radisson hotels and this one, by far, was the worst. The room wasn’t cheap either. Next time, I am having my parents stay up the hill or by the lake because I’ll pay the same price and have a better room. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Likely will not be booking at this hotel again unfortunately. Every staff member we met were amazing and attentive. Great employees throughout the hotel. The hotel was also in a great location and parking was convenient. The hotel rooms are not the cleanest: stains on floors and shower curtains, stains on toilet seat, dust and grime in every corner, and brown light switches. Be prepared to wait a long time for the elevator. The elevators smell like a boys locker room and are more humid than the pool areas. While parking was convenient the entire parking garage was FULL of trash. The shower in my bathroom did not drain as well. This hotel was just too expensive for the condition it is in.

Questionable parking and neighborhood. Homelessness and drug users appeared to be prevalent. Air conditioner didn't work. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable and water pressure was good.

A good value. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant along with its one hour rotation with great views!

Old hotel. Tub was cracked and missing porcelain. Window sills had rust on it. Not worth the money paid

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Staff was friendly but hotel could definitely use some TLC and some updates. The parking area really needs to be addressed as well. our bathtub was broken.

We did not use the fitness center, pool, hot tub or sauna. The hotel was very humid! Initially in the lobby I thought that was just from the pool, but we felt it too on the 11th floor. I know there are many floors, but the elevator seemed very slow. Beds were comfortable, tv was terrible. Remote was falling apart, channels cut it and out and the GUIDE portion didn’t work. So to find something we wanted to watch, we had to slowly go through each channel one by one. That was a bummer. Overall for the price we paid, I did expect better

The king size bed was luxurious!

I wish they had more appitizer choices. Also, the possibility of small plate options.

The rooms were clean but run down and very small

Excellent location and a nice place to stay.

The room was fine, bathroom was a little cramped, beds were comfortable. The AC unit was loud, our first night it froze up and started screeching really loud and we had to turn it off. Which sucked cause it was hot while we were in Duluth. I would’ve given a better rating if it wasn’t for the overwhelming smell of pot in every hallway. Every time you opened your door you could smell it. The only areas where it was weak was in the lobby and pool area. Which I know isn’t the hotels fault. But it was bad enough I felt I needed to warn other people that might think of staying, especially if they have young kids like I did.

My room was clean, cozy and comfortable. The rooms and lobby were updated, and the rooftop bar was great. That being said I wish I would have own ahead of time about the soccer team, as I probably would have chosen a different hotel for the weekend I was there.
