Great place for families. Stopped here for 2 nights on a Great Lakes road trip and really enjoyed it. The pool, the s’mores nights, the location to everything in Canal Park. Defintely would come back again.

Save yourself a headache and book at another property.

We have stayed here many times and always enjoy our stay. We especially like the private balcony that each Lakeview room has. One negative this time was the reduced options available for the breakfast. Mainly, there was no potato dish (hash browns, American fries, etc.). Also, some maintenance items are starting to show (e.g., wrinkles in some of the hallway carpet, small separations in wallpaper seams). I hope the hotel addresses these issues and maintains a standard of excellence.

Loved our stay! Went up to roof top pool & enjoyed the evening fire. We sat on our balcony a lot enjoying Lake Superior! Beautiful time.

Multiple pools was nice, the place was very clean, breakfast was rather good. Spacious shower, beds were pretty comfortable.

Beautiful property. We faced the lake and had a balcony that we sat on all evening. Breakfast was good Top notch hotel.

First time staying here and the hotel was amazing. We booked a king room with a lake view and the room was wonderful. It was cozy and the balcony was the best to watch the sunrise, just enjoy looking out at the water or to people watch on the boardwalk. The free breakfast was really good and fresh coffee was available all day. They have free bikes to rent for the day, bonfires and smores every night. A huge plus for us is that every night from 10-11pm is an adult only hour in the pool, which is really a nice and relaxing way to end the night. Highly recommend and we will be staying here again on our next trip.

The Inn is in desparate need for update. The furnishings in room are out dated. Wallpaper looks like a smokers room even though its not. Our door trim was missing pieces so it was really loud opening and closing. Dust everywhere. Then our toilet clogged. They handed us a plunger. Yes they made the customer who paid $300 for an old dirty room, deal with their plumbing issue. We come for the lake view from our room and paid alot for that view except the view we got on this first floor location was bushes that are next to fire pit area.They need to take these out. Absolutely no need for these which block the rooms view.

Big pool and hot tub that was great for kids within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Coffee and water in the lobby that was available anytime.

I liked the lake view room, 3rd floor, Hotel is in a great location next to the boardwalk, all the resturaunts and entertainment are within walking distance Some of the items in the room need updating, the caulk around the bathtub near the floor needed attention, the main door knob mechanism was worn and it was hard to open the room door, the gathering area in the back off of the breakfast area should have been cleaned more often, garbage can was full and a squirrel was eating out of it

The hotel has been kept up and the public areas are very nice. The continental breakfast was good. The soaking pool on the roof was nice and they have another big pool facility on the first floor that was very well kept. Overall we were comfortable and slept well and that was mostly what we were looking for, plus the location. Canal Park is wonderful. The time around the fire pits in the evening making s'mores was wonderful and having the back area that opens onto the lake front was great in the mornings, to sit there quietly with your coffee and look at the view. They also let you take a bicycle out for free for a couple of hours. That was very nice. And the bicycles were well kept and they also had helmets, which were in good shape. They don't offer housekeeping while you are there unless you ask. And if you run out of something they want you to call the front desk to get more of it. I guess that's okay but I think it would be better if they're not doing housekeeping if they just stocked the rooms with extra toilet paper and tissues and coffee for the morning.

We had a great stay. Free bikes for rent was a great perk!!!

I’ve stayed at a few places down in the area. By far, the best bang for your buck. I will be going back
