The Inn on Lake Superior

Room was nice but could tell hotel was a little dated. The location was great and the bed was comfortable

Beautiful front and back, great location, staff was excellent. The only things I found interesting were the mattresses were ready to be replaced as well as the television. Would definitely stay again!

Our bathroom wasn’t very clean

Our room could have been little more cleaner, the bedspreads were dirty not replaced.The window was dirty outside and inside our patio had sticks and garbage behind the chairs.

Always a great place to stay in canal park.

We loved the third-floor balcony facing the lake. The breakfast was wonderful, the location of the building was perfect. This was without a doubt the best stay we have enjoyed in Duluth.

Clean room, good breakfast, and great views

The front desk staff was wonderful through and through. Very helpful and patient. They helped us book a room at a beautiful old island in overlooking the Mississippi. What a wonderful experience. I will stay here again for sure.

Should have walk in showers and double sinks along with comfort level toilets. Lobby inviting and eating area very nice. Main floor rooms have become overpowered by bushes so the lake cannot be seen from balcony or 1 st floor rooms, Grass very long, fire pits area need the walkway redone, loose crumply brick, witnessed a person tripping near the fire pit at dark. Have stayed at other Canal Park hotels that are more updated...

Wonderful property and the room was exceptionally. We’ll be back for sure!!

It's very expensive for just a normal hotel.

For what we paid for the room ($400 per night) this was extremely disappointing. We booked this hotel for location and the rooftop pool. Well, the morning after we arrived there was an "incident" and it was closed the rest of our stay. The front desk claimed there was nothing they could do. Ok, fine. But besides that, the garbages inside and outside were overflowing, not emptied at all during our 2 day holiday weekend stay, our room was damp and musty, and the breakfast was basically inedible, unless you like watery eggs and black bananas. I normally am pretty flexible, but like I said, I paid $400 a night and definitely didn't get the value. I will be staying at 1 of the other 4 lakeside hotels in the future.

Lake view room was awesome. Very enjoyable stay. Continental breakfast was above average. Nothing comes to mind.

Location is perfect. That’s the main reason we booked it Could use some updates. Some of the furniture needed replacing. My husband made the mistake of looking at the mattress and it had holes on the side of it. The breakfast was essentially empty when we arrived at 9am even though it was suppose to go until 10am. Many of the items were out and not being refilled. We booked a balcony room which was on the main level right on the parking lot which was not ideal.

The only good thing that I would remark is that I was able to check in earlier than expected.

Location Patio was dirty with standing water

This is a well-run hotel, quiet and clean and with good facilities. The rooftop pool was a fun place to hang out after a day of sightseeing. And we really enjoyed taking the hotels bicycles out for a ride along the lakefront (the bicycles and helmets were both in really great condition). And we really enjoyed canal park. Really nothing bad to say about the place.

Unfortunately the outdoor pool was out of order
