The overall reaction with the last two stays has been disappointment. Cleanliness has taken a hit and with this last trip, the pool was slightly warmer than the lake itself, but not by much. So cold my 3 year old mostly refused to go in. My 5 year old toughed it out, but so much for heated pool. The real sad part was on the second day there was water dripping from a ceiling tile. It was found water had been pooling on the tile and the explanation was condensation from cooling pipes carrying water dried up and got warm and once cooled condensed. While they looked into this they had shut off our HVAC at the breaker. Given you can’t open the windows it gets stuffy so we turned it back on. Next day, same tile starts dripping again and the solution was just turn off the HVAC again. Housekeeping came in, turned it off and said if you need anything else, let us know. When we went to the front desk to come up with a better option, they reluctantly gave us another room, which was also experiencing cooling issues and also had its share of cleanliness related items. We average two trips annually to the north shore, and The Suites has always been our go to given the proximity to just about everything. But we can no longer look past the growing issues and we reluctantly will be staying elsewhere in future visits.

Located in a perfect spot to walk to everything in canal Park. No housekeeping came and we stayed 3 nights so had to get our own towels. Great that it was pet friendly.

This is literally my favorite hotel to stay at while in duluth. All of the rooms I've stayed in here, didn't have windows, which I love, cause it keeps it dark in the room. It's always cold too-Which I love for sleeping. There's a full sized fridge, stove top and microwave in every room, so if you want to bring something to eat you can make it there. The beds are super comfy as well, and big. The amenities are pretty nice. We love the sauna. The location is nice. There's a lot of restaurants around and close to the boardwalk. The rooms are pretty sound proof as well. I always get the best sleep at this hotel and I don't sleep well at other places!

Hotel is a renovated wharehouse. Cool story, and the bedroom was nice. But we were traveling with our grandson and booked a room with a sofa sleeper but had no bedding for it. The mattress had urine stains and the thermostat didn't work. The room stayed at 75, which was a bit much. Front desk brought the bedding up pretty fast. Didn't sleep well because that so missed breakfast. Not the experience we were hoping for

The hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The curtain in the bedroom wouldn't close so it was very bright in the room by 5:30 am, the TV was also disconnected in the bedroom and the overhead light in the bedroom didn't work. For $300/night I would have expected more.

Perfectly situated near AMSOIL Arena, great shops, restaurants, shoreline biking and walking. Immaculate, great vibe. Loved it!

I would stay here again for the convenience of being in canal park and the hotel parking across the street. We were within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The Bed was comfortable & everything was spacious. The hot tub was not working during our stay. We didn’t get the chance to try the breakfast.

AC worked, but not well. Room was cool but very humid. Property has amazing character and a very industrial feel. Bed was comfortable, room was enormous.

The property displayed it's age. The room I used had nice space, however it was dark and the facility showed it's age.
