Great location. Spacious rooms. Clean hotel. Pool was huge.
-
Location is great and the free parking a welcome bonus. Wifi was basically non existent and the worse l have experienced in a long time.
-
Parking is across the busy street which makes a little unsafe for those with little kids and lots of stuff to haul but location is unbeatable. The only hiccup was that our room’s AC got busted late in the evening and they have only 2 fans, 1 of which was super noisy and doesn’t really provide air. We got upgraded to 1 of their nicest rooms but have no time to enjoy anyway because it was late at night and we had to repack and haul all our belongings from 1 floor to another.
-
Nice room but it wasn’t very clean. Lots of long black hairs on the bathroom floor and tv stand hadn’t been dusted in a long time. Otherwise, place was nice. Convenient to everything downtown!
-
Great location. Nice staff. Our room had no window which was advertised, but I did not like it. It was perfectly clean. The hot tub at pool was out of order. The breakfast was ok.

Great location, breakfast was meh.

We have always loved the location of the hotel. We also enjoy the many dining options and the location the the Canal Park Bridge. When I booked the room, I know that I had booked a room with the westward window. My husband and I love watching and hearing the charter boats come in. So I was very disappointed that we had been given an interior room. Our room was clean and prepped nicely for our stay.

Nice location. Big room.
-
Site claims they have a pool. They no longer have a pool Everything was very worn Asked staff for things to do and they had no suggestions, even though there was a huge discovery center directly across the hwy

The room was clean and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out was pretty smooth. The pool was cold. My daughter enjoyed it; however, I stuck a couple legs in there and told her she was swimming by herself. The workout room is very tiny. If you don't need much, then it would work just fine. We never got any housekeeping but that's not the end of the world. We only stayed for two days. I stayed in an interior room that has two doors that lead to two hallways. If you like windows, then don't get that room. I believe they advertise the types of rooms. I brought a noise machine and didn't notice much noise from either hallway. The room was a little stuffy but not terrible. The bathroom was out of conditioner and body wash, and the front desk quickly remedied that situation. The location was nice. The parking lot is a little rough but works just fine. This was my first time in Duluth and I would stay here again but maybe get a different room.

Very secure, pet friendly and clean rooms. All staff very friendly and helpful. Welcoming!!
-
Staff was very kind, courteous and helpful.
-
The kitchette was stocked and the room was very clean.
-
Customer service staff could have been a little more welcoming. I feel the room was overly priced especially to not have any windows and a giant pillar right next to the bed. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Breakfast was a major disappointment.

Dog friendly . My kids loved it. Located in canal park so plenty of shopping and restaurants to eat at. My only real issue with this place was the parking. For a place that is soo gungho about towing people who aren't supposed to be there (lot is for guests of hotel only) our car was broken in to, we lost cologne, watch and phone cords nothing major but still . There is a bunch of homeless in the area. Itd sure be nice if they had a patrol for the lot or cameras facing the lot. Or something. Kinda disappointing. Overall good stay canal park is just changing I guess.
-
my only suggestion is for grab bars in the bath tubes for seniors to get in and out.
-
Hot tub was not clean and smelled terrible. Water was green
-
Air conditioning in the room is extremely loud- with no way to make it quieter. Hard to sleep. Good location to walk to the shore.
-
Rooms were clean. Common area not as clean. Staff not as professional as you would have thought for the dollar you pay per night. Parking was good. Good location.
