La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dumas

We arrived well after midnight and were met by smiling staff who provided terrific service. Because of our late arrival we elected to skip breakfast but the facilities looked nice.

The hotel denied the reservation despite prepayment. I was left stranded late night to find an alternative.

On a super hot summer day, it was refreshing to open a hotel room that was nice and cool. Thank you for pre cooling my room!!

The check in staff member was very nice and helpful. The room was relatively run down and not updated. The bathroom had trash on the floor the air conditioning was barely putting out any air. The breakfast was very good!

My only complaints are a leaky air conditioner drain which kept the floor next to it soaking wet. The suite we were in had only one very small trash can. Keep in mind this was a two room suite with a kitchen. And only a one gallon trash can. We asked the guy at the desk for a second or larger trash can. His response was " I can't help you." Poor service indeed .

Room was clean and fresh, bathroom was nice and big with lots of counter space. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice.

Just OK. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful.

TV did not work.

AC nice and cold

Window unit heat pump needed service. Wasn't able to cool the room adequately unless if was at the very coldest setting. Ran constantly, and when it did cycle off, it created a loud thumping sound that startled me awake 6 or 7 times during the night. Worst sleep score on my smart watch in 15 years of data. I explained the situation at checkout and was met with indifference. Next time I'll stay at the Hampton down the street.

My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff quickly checked me and my 4 travel companions in after a long day of travel. I've stayed here numerous times and it's always been a great experience. PS great coffee ☕ and breakfast to get your day started.

What a surprise when we arrived - it was happy hour. They had hot wings, French fries, trail mix, as well as one free beer per adult. We will definitely stay here again whenever we come through Dumas.

2. Indoor swimming pool room was not very well taken care of and pool water was extremely cold. Hot tub out of service. 3. Extra pillows are not, "allowed. " 4. Bathtub plug was missing. Arrived at breakfast room at 8:15 am. Out of almost all food items.

Great location large rooms . Breakfast good, typical hotel breakfast with waffles, rolls, sausage great coffee.

If you don’t mind watching Fox News while you eat breakfast then the hotel was ok.

The entire property was well kept. Bed was very comfortable. TV remote was terrible! Overall a very nice stay though. Great for pets. Nice grassy areas.

More qualities/amenities than we were expecting. Very pleasant stay.
