Quality Inn Dumas

This place felt so much safer, cleaner, and more relaxing than so many of the other hotels you find on a road trip. My little dog and I were grateful!

Super-helpful—put us on the first floor, which was very important to us—made arrangements for reservation for our return trip, and discounted the initially-quoted high price a little—Priscilla (front desk) was especially helpful! Excellent breakfast well!

The lock deadbolt on the door was not working.

Staff was very friendly & held breakfast for me for a few minutes. Much appreciated. It was very hot outside & we appreciated that the room was nice and cool on our arrival.

Bed was comfortable. Tissue box was empty. Decaf coffee packets but no regular coffee packets in room. Room overall was fine.

Rooms were very clean and well keeped

This was our second stay at this hotel since we were pleased with our stay last year. The property is well maintained bothe inside and out. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff on duty the morning we left were very friendly and kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked.

Clean room ready after a 13 hour drive we enjoyed the shower and Bed

Room was decent. Beds were also okay (not rock hard but not super soft). Pillows probably need replacement as some of the larger ones were bunch. Wall paper in the room was peeling and some places in the ceiling need re-patching. However, room and bedding was clean. Breakfast area is small but decent little free breakfast. Front desk staff friendly & helpful. There is no elevator so that may be an ADA issue for folks with mobility issues. I’d give it a 6-7 out of 10. Would consider staying here again for the price.

Every time I come visit family in Dumas, this is where I stay! The staff is great, the property is clean, and the rooms are clean and quiet! The housekeeping staff is amazing too!

Clean No elevator

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They checked me in very quickly and when we used MDT to determine when to go down for breakfast, they were very helpful and unphased by the fact that we arrived at 9:30 when they officially stopped serving at 9 am.

We didn’t arrive until approximately 7:00 in the evening, checked into our room and then left for dinner. When we got back, about 8:30 we turned the A/C down to cool the room and read for a little while and then turned the air conditioner down more because it didn’t feel like the room was cooling very well. By this time it was about 10:30-11:00 and we were exhausted. We were only staying one night and were not going to ask to change rooms since we had to leave early the next morning and didn’t want to have maintenance come to our room since we were already in our pajamas. Needless to say we did NOT rest well. I informed the front desk and all she said was “I’m sorry”. Really?!?

Booked 2 rooms. One of the Microwave in a room doesn’t work and not clean. Coffee maker wasn’t clean. Everything else was good.

The room was clean and comfortable and the AC was good. The manager and staff were nice and helpful. Could use a couple more items for the breakfast
