Country Inn & Suites By Radisson, Dunbar - Charleston

Bad

Very old property

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Person checking us in said they did not have a freezer they can put my freezer packs in for medicine. No vent in bathroom so the smoke alarm goes off when taking hot shower and bathtub drain was very slow.

The female clerk checking me in was super kind and so efficient. She answered all my questions before I had to even ask All of my needs were taken care of and I knew if I needed anything that I would not be bothering her. Wonderful experience. The television was not hooked up properly. It kept going in and out like there were loose wires. I had to figure that out before I was able to relax. The free breakfast should consist of drinks other than coffee. Cereal, waffles, apples, coffee, should be advertised as a morning snack. There was not even water.

Exceptional

The staff and cleanliness

The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. ***THE HEADLINE WAS THE SHOWER*** The shower stole the show. Whatever quality you use that would have you say “man that’s a great shower” is present here. I travel through here regularly and this alone will have me coming back.

Very comfy bad and decent breakfast.

The room and hotel in general were very clean. We found the room comfortable and breakfast was a great start to the day. Location was great for our plans. Will definitely stay again.

Stopped here to rest on the last leg of a long trip. It's conveniently right off of the highway. The front desk clerk was friendly and upbeat. The lobby looked fairly well maintained. Unfortunately, our room wasn't as clean as I would've liked. Lots of dingy spots. The toilet was old and rickety. We went to sleep and left before 8am.

Good

Clean room. Easy check in. The breakfast was pretty nice for a US hotel. It had a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, cereal options, apples and bananas, yogurt, eggs (meh), bacon, potatoes, plus the usual coffee and juice options. The room was comfortable and appropriately sized and the shower was pleasant. Only a few miles from Charleston. Parking was easy and abundant.

It was okay.

Some updates, clean room. Bathroom had a few cosmetic needs. Overall, not bad.

Our suite was great and spacious, beds were very comfortable, shower was good too

Exceptional

Very good

The room itself was clean. Looked like they remodeled but left some things alone like the bathroom doors (holes in them) , peeling grout, peeling paint on fan in bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable but felt like it was taken off a fold out sofa sleeper. Bed creaked when I moved or even sat on it.
