There was nothing about this hotel I liked. I booked the hotel through booking.com for my father-in-laws Celebration of Life. I thought I was booking in Altoona, IA, but instead it was Altoona, PA. There was no way we were going to miss this event so we didn't buy the cancellation fee, but because of the PA instead of IA we lost over $800 dollars. That was an expensive lesson that I can't afford. We are even part of the IHG family and this is how we get treated. Disappointed and Frustrated.

It had a pool for my granddaughter, and I wish I could have been closer to my granddaughter's home in Johnstown. The back-and-forth was crazy with these gas prices and going to the other granddaughter's graduation in Hershey, PA. Hotel was amazing

Check in was easy. Continental breakfast was lovely. Ample parking. Room well supplied. I requested a change in check in date through booking.com and followed up by calling the property after reading that hotels typically respond within 24 hours. Property states they were unable to approve the change over the phone because it was booked through booking.com. The property did not respond at all (after more than 24 hours) to a request to change the check in date to a day earlier. I gave up and canceled the request after a few days and kept the original booking.

This hotel is very clean, modern and well maintained. While the breakfast was standard "free breakfast" fare, it was done well. The clerk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. While the hotel is located close to the interstate, finding access to it was a little confusing.

The breakfast was more than we expected! The omelets were delicious! The rooms were clean with up-to-date furnishings. Nothing, really.

I liked how attentive the staff was and how very quick to help they were. Forgot some items like toothpaste, would've liked some amenities to be in the room available instead of having to go ask for them.

The breakfast was excellent with many good options. It was well stocked and the hotel assistant was readily available to help. I thought the room had a smoke odor which was not pleasant.
