Residence Inn by Marriott Durango Downtown

Hotel is very dated and in the early stages of being run down.

Room was clean. Carpet needs replacing. There were carpet tacks felt along the edge between living & kitchen areas. Bedding was comfortable. Spacious room & bath. Staff were mostly friendly & helpful. At one point I needed clothes detergent for the washer & hotel was out. Staff stated none would arrive for 3 days. Breakfast was good with multiple choices. Very good location & quiet facilities. Yes, would stay here again.

Typical Marriott— you can count on them to give you a great stay. Hottub and pool lovely, breakfast was very good, bed was superb, huge room. Thank you Marriot, you consistently deliver!!

Place was very clean, well stocked, breakfast very good. Bed on the hard side though. Satisfied.

Not the most kid friendly pool. But we still made it work. We we're not able to check in early because the rooms weren't ready, front desk said they were short staffed. $300 for 1 night and we didnt even get sheets for the sofa bed. Everything else was okay.

Room absolutely stunk. Smelled like old grease. Could not turn down fan on ac was like sleeping in a wind tunnel. They did fix the ac. Place is getting a little tired. Asked the clerk for some tea and she was useless went back to room to get my own tea. Also Marriott did not back there best room guarantee think I will switch to hilton.

I came to Durango for business, and understanding the significant cost of hotels in the area. I appreciate it the reasonable price for these hotel. However, I did not appreciate that. There was a parking fee that was not clear in the website. The rooms were clean. The properties a little old. In some areas need a little bit of better cleaning, but overall it was a good place to stay. I just don’t appreciate being charged parking. When the parking is controlled by the same hotel and no one else is parking around the area.

I wrote and called the staff multiple times. They didn’t honor the rate promised by booking through Expedia, they up charged me. The bill was almost double what Expedia had. Absolutely terrible customer service, Marriott Bonvoy threw all responsibility to the property. I tried reaching out to MIDAS HOSPITALITY, don’t bother you can’t get through. Worst hotel experience of my life.

staff unfriendly and bugs lined my windowsills even though never opened. never serviced room. $10 parking charge that was unexpected.

Ten dollars a day to park. No services. Get your own towels, make your own bed, and take out your trash. Just like Motel 6 but more expensive. Very dog friendly.

Room was not clean, hair on floor, soap on vanity, mold and grime in shower, leftovers in refrigerator, ripped carpet, and obvious lack of vacuuming and mopping. Also, kitchen was dark.

I love a Residence Inn, but this one was very disappointing, First, the free breakfast was actually disgusting. I am a business owner and needed internet to get some work done, the internet is completely useless. The den speed was .08mbps and the up speed was 7mbps. They also charged me $10 per night to park my car in their surface lot. I will admit, I missed this in the hotel description, but this is just a money grab. There is no garage, just a regular parking lot. I will choose differently next visit to Durango. The staff were great and helpful,
