Great stay for a business trip

Awesome stay!

I always stay at the AC Marriott when I’m Durhams. I like its clean, Euro-minimalist vibe. The breakfast menu is extensive — a great way to start the day.

My son and I visited Duke for his ED consideration. It has wonderful location, walking distance to undergraduate admission office where the guided tours started.

Very clean and seemed brand new. Everything was great. Breakfast is a bit pricey for what it is, but we will definitely stay there again. Loved the vinyl floor in the rooms instead of the usual old nasty carpet hotels have.

It was clean and smelled amazing. The staff was welcoming and polite. Our room was comfortable. Will stay here again when returning to Durham.

Out of in room Nespresso coffee pods throughout entire stay. Entire floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Fire alarm was going off throughout evening /night. Will not stay here again.

The gym is nice and big. Not a good breakfast selection.

Lovely stay

It’s near Duke University ,can walk to the campus.Front desk staff is quite friendly and always ready to help.Room is clean and spacious,but not comfortable because there is uncomfortable smell ,a smell of newly renovated，maybe harmful gas.

Modern hotel, clean, comfortable beds.

It was close to where I needed to go, centrally located. There was no microwave in room only where ice machine is so inconvenient to heat up my food. I only had a shower only versus shower and tub. I prefer baths but I wasn’t there a long time so it was okay.

Very noisy …bar and kitchen were closed..

There was a weird vibration that would come and go through the entire building. Happened at all times of the day. When I asked they said it may be the washing machines. Also unfortunately had to listen to an alarm beginning at 5 am for two hours in an unoccupied room next door. Otherwise, room was nice and clean and bathroom was clean.

It’s a very beautiful hotel. The front desk staff was very unprofessional and seemed very immature for the face of such a nice hotel. She was sweet but definitely not a good fit for the first thing you encounter when you come into this hotel. She was on her phone and she kept yawning and saying how tired she was. The bar and breakfast staff were very friendly and professional though. My biggest complaint is we could hear every little thing the walls are so thin and we could hear someone stomping above us until 1 AM. I even had a sound machine.
