Located adjacent to Duke University campus, this Durham hotel features an on-site restaurant and spacious rooms with free WiFi. Duke Medical Center and VA Medical Center are within 7 minutes' walk or less. We are located just steps from Duke University Hospital, The Duke Eye Center, The Duke Cancer Center and many other Duke Medical facilities. Our shuttle transports our guests to all of these locations, operating Monday through Friday from 7am – 7pm. Breakfast is served each morning (for a fee) The hotel also offers 492 square feet of meeting space for small events. Free parking is also provided for all guests. A cable TV, coffee machine, and refrigerator as well as a microwave are standard in every simply furnished room. All rooms have a hardwood floor, faux brick accents, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Raleigh-Durham International Airport is a 20 minutes' drive from The Lodge at Duke Medical Center. University Medical Center is 0.9 mi from the property, while downtown Durham is 2.8 mi away.

This hotel was super nice. Staff was amazing. The location is great of you have appointments at Duke. The only complaint would bethe sirens and helicopter traffic but it didn't bother me cause I work ems so I'm used to it. But you are also right next to the hospital so it's expected. Beds were a little firm for my liking but my husband liked them. So it's a preference thing.

The lobby and entrance area look great. A big improvement! The staff worked extra to get us an early arrival! The bathrooms need an upgrade

The breakfast was wonderful. Very close to the university. Wished there were toothbrushes in the room.

It appears to be an old hotel that has been renovated very well. The room looked and great and was very clean. Free parking was nice.

The hotel is basic but had everything we needed, was conveniently located and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the on-site cafe is a nice amenity.

Everything was clean and welcoming. Coffee and hot water available in the lobby was very nice to have. Beautiful lobby area and friendly staff, parking was easy and very easy to get to main highway.
