Located adjacent to Duke University campus, this Durham hotel features an on-site restaurant and spacious rooms with free WiFi. Duke Medical Center and VA Medical Center are within 7 minutes' walk or less. We are located just steps from Duke University Hospital, The Duke Eye Center, The Duke Cancer Center and many other Duke Medical facilities. Our shuttle transports our guests to all of these locations, operating Monday through Friday from 7am – 7pm. Breakfast is served each morning (for a fee) The hotel also offers 492 square feet of meeting space for small events. Free parking is also provided for all guests. A cable TV, coffee machine, and refrigerator as well as a microwave are standard in every simply furnished room. All rooms have a hardwood floor, faux brick accents, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Raleigh-Durham International Airport is a 20 minutes' drive from The Lodge at Duke Medical Center. University Medical Center is 0.9 mi from the property, while downtown Durham is 2.8 mi away.

It appears to be an old hotel that has been renovated very well. The room looked and great and was very clean. Free parking was nice.

The hotel is basic but had everything we needed, was conveniently located and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the on-site cafe is a nice amenity.

Everything was clean and welcoming. Coffee and hot water available in the lobby was very nice to have. Beautiful lobby area and friendly staff, parking was easy and very easy to get to main highway.

The over priced room is only justified due to the proximity to the hospital.

The cafe that is supposed to be open every day at 6am was closed so we were not able to eat before spending the day at the hospital. Felt like I was sleeping on bricks. Guest services went to the room next door for an issue they had and was very loud at 5am talking right outside of my door. Also there was a clinking noise all night long.

From the outside the building looks to be under construction or oddly decorated. We were a bit concerned, but the interior and accommodations were fantastic. Close to Campus, easy to get to and very clean. Perfect little spot for a quick trip,

The location was great for us as we were going to the Duke hospital. The room was nice but could have been cleaner. The staff were very nice and helpful. Also the shuttle service was nice since we are older and the last time we came we had gotten lost
