Hilton Garden Inn Durham/University Medical Center

We were in town to visit our son, and this location was very convenient. The hotel was clean and pleasant.

Very nice renovated room. Hotel in the middle of being renovated so the lobby looks offputting. But our entire floor hallway and room was completely updated and looked beautiful. I can see the vision. Just get the lobby together. Beds are very comfortable.

Location The property is under renovation and this was not indicated on the website. We chose this property because it was a Hilton Garden Inn with a restaurant and lounging area and indoor pool. However, with the renovation there was nowhere to sit and relax. The tables for the restaurant we’re in the middle of the lobby. And to access indoor pool, you had to go outside the building and around and it was raining that day. So we ended up having to leave the hotel to go to a restaurant, etc. Had we known about the renovation we would have selected another property. And we still paid over $200 for the night.

Easy to park. Convenient to DPAC event. No breakfast offered.

Hilton Garden was in the perfect location, the food was great and the staff was coutious. I would stay there again if the need arises. We were there for a hospital stay. The shuttle with Mr. Darrel was great, he was very courteous and got me where I needed to be. I had no complaints regarding the hotel, the staff or the service. Everything was very well organized and everyone was very helpful, I would stay there again if the need arises.

My hotel room was always clean and immaculate. The breakfasts were scrumptious.

We had a short but pleasant visit at this hotel. The premises outside and inside were well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff members were helpful and accommodating. The young African American server in the dining room at breakfast was a jewel. With his caring manner, his warmth, his excellent communication skills, and his efficiency, he made each guest feel wecome and special.

The commode seat moved every time we used the toilet. It was uncomfortable.
