Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint

However when we came in at night to get our room, we tried to explain it to the female staff(name unknown). We tried to explain it but she was angry and upset telling us to be quiet and listen to her as she explained there were no rooms available. Can I literally explain our situation and how I tried to make her understand we still had another night booked here we were just waiting for our new room. "You ain't gonna tell me, you ain't gonna interrupt me"......I could not believe this woman is employed here. Needless to say she went to the back trying to call people from the morning shift as her computer wasn't working. She then tells us we can have a two bedroom room that she found. OK, so we go there. Then they call our room as I am about to get in the shower and she tells my wife she found a suite they had for us. We packed up again, but checked out the next day. Pathetic customer service....even the other staff were looking at this woman, like calm down..... never again Durham!

The hotel was good. Its not that new and its not that old. The staff was good, very nice and professional. It was a good stay.

We had a perfectly pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn for three nights. The place was clean and there are lots of shopping and eating choices nearby. The staff was helpful. The housekeepers did miss cleaning our room one day, but we were able to get clean towels as well as extra bottles of water and coffee pods from the front desk. If you need to stay in the area, I think this is the best choice.

OK, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpoint for the most part. It was clean the front desk. Staff was fantastic. The only issues that I had was with the bar area and the staff that worked the bar area. There was no courtesy there was no life it was like I don’t wanna be here slow service not attentive always on the phone with your earbuds and not paying attention to the customers. it just wasn’t professional the way that I see it but as far as the front desk staff a gentleman that worked the front desk and no issue with them whatsoever the maid service was great. I needed something additional. I asked they gave it to me. The breakfast lady was unattended to me. She focus on one group of people I had to go up and ask her can I pay my tab or she never told me that was a menu I could choose from but but another set of people she won’t return. Can I get your menu never walked over to me. I sat there for 15 minutes, just to see if she was gonna do that and nothing so of course I didn’t eat it. The food was not that great when I asked for something I got nonchalant answer or an answer that was not pleasant so those are the only issues that I had.

Everything was wonderful. Just not a fan of an indoor pool, but everything else was perfect.

Our shower didn’t have cold water at certain times. Our toilet handle was broken

Perfect stay. Location is amazing as well. walking distance to the Southpoint mall and other places. Very clean and everyone on staff was amazing.

I do not understand how a hotel this nice does not offer aat least a continental breakfast for guests. Even though I paid the amount I did for the rooms, I still had to pay $14 for my daughter to eat a few eggs. I'd understand having to pay for the buffet, but the same price whether it's the buffet or just 2 scrambled eggs is ridiculous

The room was very noisy got no sleep for the three nights would not recommend room 514 to anyone.

Breakfast was well above Par.

It was good.The room was a little smaller than expected but pool room was warm and staff was helpful.

What I liked best was that every single employee was so nice and either smiled or spoke to you. Breakfast was decent and they also offer dinner. Attached is a Ruth Chris steakhouse. Tile in bathroom needs updating but overall a good place to stay.

The only issue was that it was really hot in the halls. Therefore, the A/C had to work harder in the room to keep the room cool.

Great midway point on way to Carolina beaches…will do again next year
