It was clean

The lobby was nice. The staff who checked us in want very friendly. She also neglected to inform us that the room key was necessary to operate the elevator. That was a key piece of information. After making it to the room, my husband noticed spider webbs above the bed and along the wall adjacent. Then we had to call the desk about the toilet which jolted forward and rocked sideways when sat on. Scared me a lil bit. Maintenance rebolted it to the floor. We also had issues with the ac and there was mold on the shower wall. In all, the hotel shows signs of age and wear and could use some updating and TLC.

We always enjoy our stay here. Even though there is no breakfast option, they do give access to a microwave. We used that for a late night supper after a baseball game. The staff was great, even when dealing with a grumpy Cubs fan because he didn't know his own room number! The key works if you are at the right door! Don't be rude. Love the location being close to the train and we always enjoy the view of the Arch. I was able to work remote three days without any issues. Definitely will come back.

Good Overall

Great place! Near Metrolink so super convenient.

Convenience of the property is perfect for going to downtown st Louis and a baseball game. Train is walking distance and they also offer a free shuttle to the game. Dislikes Casino next door has ghetto vibe to it . Unsafe feels. Rooms have old towels, barely any warm/ hot water ,broken tile and stain carpets. Bed was clean though

We arrived around 4:15 PM to check in, with the listed check-in time being 4:00 PM. One of our rooms still wasn’t ready, and we weren’t given an estimate of when it would be available. We had requested rooms on the same floor, though, and the hotel did honor that request. The hotel itself felt very secure, which I appreciated. However, I didn’t love that the casino wasn’t connected to the hotel, meaning we had to walk outside to get to the casino. The biggest issue for me was the bedding. The beds didn’t have fitted sheets—only a thin flat sheet—so the mattress itself wasn’t covered. Personally, I found this to feel less sanitary and was not a setup I particularly liked. On our second day, I also requested an extra blanket, which was brought to the room in a wadded-up ball rather than neatly folded. Noise was another issue. The hallways were loud throughout the night, with people talking and doors slamming, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On the positive side, the parking lot was fine, and I had no issues with my vehicle during either night of our stay. Overall, it was an okay hotel for a short stay, but based on this experience, I would probably choose Horseshoe Casino next time.

The price was great and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and ac worked great. Needs a Microwave and the small fridge didn’t cool as well as it should. But saving $1000 on hotel compared to staying at convention hotels worked well. Free parking was a plus.

Room was dusty, there were dirt marks on the wall, and the toilet seat was peeling. Hallways were generally clean. AC was too loud and masked the sound of my alarm.

Hotel is the perfect location to catch the train to Cardinal’s stadium or you can take a shuttle the hotel provides. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds, Only area of big improvement needed is with check in and staff. Staff extremely unhelpful and unfriendly, Had to wait in a long line 10min before check in time and staff was yelling out if want to check in before 4pm had to pay $30 for your reserved room or will get whatever room is ready at check in and many rooms weren’t ready yet and couldn’t say when they would be ready. So confusing and frustrating! When we finally checked in we were given a room with a king bed(reserved a double bed room) staff at check in did not mention the room change found out when we opened the door. Rushed out to the game and when returning to the hotel for the night spoke to the staff at the desk about the room and she said nothing can be done about it, all rooms were sold out. She said a rollaway was supposed to be included but we didn’t have one. She rolled her eyes and said she’ll send one up to the room for us.Well the rollaway bed didn’t arrive until AFTER midnight. Spoke to the manager the next morning who was very apologetic and appreciative to let her know our situation but stated since we booked with a 3rd party-Expedia there wasn’t anything she could do on her end.The hotel had to change our room in the morning and they noted it but there wasn’t a way of getting that information to us since booking wasn’t with them directly. Upsetting

We had a nice large room looking out at the Arch. The bed was comfortable, but the furniture was a little dated. Bathroom could use a little updating. Plenty of parking and easy access to downtown St. Louis. The casino is steps away. Wish they offered breakfast.

It’s not bad. waited 20 min to check in because the person at the front was on break and they don’t have 2 people working when i went in the afternoon. not her fault but annoying. Parking was easy and free. the casino next door was nice. the hotel and casino is around nothing. you cannot walk anywhere to restaurants etc. For an over night stay, with the casino right there, and with the fair price, it was worth it. Room is getting worn but it was still comfortable.

None of the lights in our room worked. The pool was mysteriously closed all weekend. Half the machines in their "gym" were broken. Half the weights were missing. The lobby smelled incredibly strong of something icky. The AC was incredibly loud. We could hear EVERYTHING on our floor and it was very loud.
-
We showed up underneath an hour before check in and charged us an extra $30 to check in. Our view was of the roof from the lobby. It was five feet from our window
-
Price is all right.
-
Out of 3 lamps in our room, only 1 worked and no overhead light. The blow dryer didn’t work, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, only a partial shower curtain that covered basically nothing, everything was covered in dust, our floor’s ice maker didn’t work. Positive was that it was quiet there, but definitely will not be back.
-
Solid hotel. Good location if interested in downtown St Louis activities. Not the best amenities. Nothing really near the hotel. Convenient and good if staying for purpose. I was in town for a concert at the Dome. Wish there was a shuttle.or some transportation service available all year. Staff could have been a little more friendly

Worlds smallest tv on the wall, not deal breaker but seriously it’s 2026….. tvs are cheap. The door stop behind the front door had been ripped out of the floor and the there was a hole in the wall from the door handle. Checked into the hotel and dropped bags and went to the stadium for a game. Got home at midnight and there was water all over the bathroom floor. Leaking from behind toilet, toilet was unsecured from the floor. Maintenance came up, (Reggie?) great guy and service. Obviously nothing could be done at that time so we cleaned the floor and put towels behind the toilet. Here’s the oddest part…… shower had recently been retiled and loos nice….. but the shower head?!?! lol omg you guys couldn’t drop another $75 for a shower head, this one spit and sputtered and threw water out at 200 mph. Cmon yall, do better. The curtain rod was broken, not completely but def broken/improperly hung. 2 things have either happened here. The house attendant doesn’t care and make note of these things, or they make notes and it’s not getting passed on or escalated to the maintenance department. Your staff is amazing from check in, just chatting with associates, Reggie, check out. Metro to the stadium, perfect. Overall 2.5…. With out the staff 1 star. Fix those other things and it could have been a 4 star. PS - upgrade for the arch view, worth it!!

Check in was not friendly, room was just ok. Stayed 2 nights and people across from our room were very loud and kept slamming the door until late at night.

We checked in a bit late at night and when we got to our room, it was warm and humid even though the air was on the lowest setting. We called the front desk right away and they sent maintenance up within 10 mins. A quick clean of the filters and the air was working good as new! The view of the arch at night was beautiful! It was quiet, clean, and cozy. My only real complaint was the bathroom floor. The tiles were loose and when you would step near the shower/toilet area, they would rattle and it almost sounded like you would fall through the floor. One thing I loved was how close the metrolink station was to the property as we were in town for a concert. The train ride was quick and much easier than we anticipated! Staff was always very friendly and helpful with every interaction!
