The Eastland Historic Hotel- Hondo Room

A beautiful, historical hotel. Well located. Beautiful rooms and modern. Great continental breakfast and coffee. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very quiet Nothing

Room was next to well-stocked kitchenette. Daughter left her ear buds, staff was quick to locate them and mail back home for us. Room was cleaned & we enjoyed the history. Would recommend it and will stay again if we pass through the area.

There was no breakfast other than pastries and I can’t eat sugar based products so not really something desirable. Bed was a very hard and uncomfortable, no hair dryer as found in other rooms from previous stays and charging electronics was poor since the outlet was not next to an area to be able to have a workspace.

Comfortable and quiet. Amazing beautiful design. Feels like stepping back in time, but with modern conveniences. Breakfast items were a blessing with several to choose from. The stairs from front door to 2nd floor creaked. I was afraid it would bother other guests. Not a complaint, just a concern.

The Justin room was very large, the bed, pillows and covers very nice. We feel the shower need improvement ie controlling the shower head to avoid spraying the bath floor is a juggling match. Neither of us are handicapped and turning the shower on and off was not easy. Also a wheelchair bound person Would have difficulty reaching and managing the controls. I ask that you have bath door open and commode lid up sit on the right side of the sofa and what do you see. Yukky black growth just under the rim. Train house keepers to clean this area. We thought breakfast was included. Found out about 3 nd floor snack area prior to our departure. Young man at lobby coffee bar was exceptional. He gave us good leads on where to find a full breakfast restaurant.

Nice room. It was very clean and comfortable. Because there is no staff that I saw on the property, the only issue we had at all was some of the other guests were very loud.

Comfortable, neat and clean

It was overall comfortable, especially the bed.

The room attendant was very helpful and assisted us when we arrived too early to check in. We had an event to attend and needed space to change. She quickly cleaned the restroom so we could use it. Check in time is listed online as 11am. I received an email stating check-in at 11am. However it is not until 3pm. That was a problem for us, although the room attendant was able to assist temporarily.

Quaint, cozy. Hassle free

It felt like we were in our own little world. So cozy and cute. The coffee shop downstairs was such an added bonus! So clean and the breakfast options were good. Pool area was very relaxing and private.
