Nice stay

Such a nice property! It fits right in with the Door County vibe and is conveniently located near food and activities. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast—they only offer coffee, juice, and pre-packaged muffins. In my opinion, that’s a miss, especially considering the per night price.

Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. A great spot to stay and unwind while visiting natural attractions and creating art in Door County. Wonderful swimming pool and deck/patio area.

The hotel itself is quite nice. The pool $ hot tub was well maintained and the outdoor fire pit was a great way to relax in the evening. The grounds were well maintained . The only downside was our room itself. It was constantly damp the entire time we stayed there and the room had a musty smell that A/C couldn’t get rid of. So The Ashbrooke is a nice place but avoid room 104.

Jacuzzi tub was large, inviting and relaxing. Pool area architecture was lovely. Front desk staff, Malia, was also engaging and very kind. I would definitely return to the Ashbrooke!

It’s a beautiful, well maintained property in a great location at the north end of Egg Harbor business district. The evening we arrived, we walked into town to get the lay of the land: ships, restaurants. Galleries, we enjoyed the outdoor fire circle on the deck outside the pool: would have been nicer with wine, and they had wine available for sale by the bottle from the front desk. Very quiet, great shower, good beds.

Exceptional

Clean, spacious comfortable room. Easy on-site parking It was not clear when we booked that the pool facilities were closed. I had actually wanted to use them so it was a bit disappointing to find this out on-site. Location was good but not great, a little further out of the town.

Nice size room and bathroom. Quiet. Easy access to all the main things in Egg Habor. I would definitely stay there again.

Great for relaxing visit. Easy walk down town for dinner. Short ride to Peninsula Theater for a great show and grounds along lake!

The room was clean, staff were friendly, and the location was great! Room was spacious and had everything needed. The only bummer was that the TV doesn't swivel. Was hoping to chill in the tub and watch my shows! Still sooooo nice to relax, though. :)

It was quiet and tucked away from the crowds. It was clean and well kept. The bed headboard was a little loose and banged against the wall.

The room and the property as a whole was very clean. Our suite was very spacious and cozy. The coffee, muffins and yogurt were very nice to have for guests. There was no mention of the pool and hot tub being unavailable on their website. We were made aware of the status upon check-in. We were told we could use their sister property pool and beach access which was apx 3 miles away and honestly not convenient. Our first night we went to sit by the outdoor fire pit, but the maintenance man was attempting to repair it. Eventually he was unable to fix it that night. We asked about it the following night and were told that they had to order the part. Part of the reason we chose Ashebrooke is that it was adults only and the amenities looked very nice and we looked forward to using them. The hotel did give us $60 refund off our stay which was fine but being unable to use the amenities was very disappointing and I feel that the refund could have been a bit more.
