Fairfield By Marriott Inn & Suites Emporia

What I did not like: The breakfast in the morning needs an overhaul. Not a lot of choices. Presentation not great. The hot food that was served was really not very good. If you opted for bagels or cereal, it probably would be ok, but the brown and serve sausage was not browned. It was steamed? Not run across that before. Eggs were ok and the usual eggs served at a morning breakfast. The French toast was tough, soggy and had no taste..tasted like cardboard. Cereal dispensers had a couple of varieties in the dispensers, but one cereal was poured into bowls and covered with saran wrap and stacked. Not the usual breakfast quality served at other places we have stayed and enjoyed in the past. We were there in March and it was much better then...not sure what happened, but it has changed..at least the day we were there.

The lady who takes care of breakfast is the best! She was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Check out was horrible. I was held up because my account was apparently off by one penny, and they wouldn't let me leave until they figured it out. Unfortunately, that delay caused me to be late and miss the presentation I traveled to town for.

Chris is an absolute Jem. The sunshine on a gloomy day. Very friendly and helpful.

We had some difficulties with the remote to the tv, and didn't get a lot of response from staff, but quickly figured it out ourselves

Staff is super friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Hanna with Fairfield Inn was especially helpful there was a problem at check in which turned out to be with Bookings.com not the hotel. Hanna went above and beyond to take care of the situation and taking the stress off of us during the process of getting the problem resolved. Not having everything ready for check in. I as a customer had received the booking confirmation # from you "Booking.com" But you "Booking.com failed to complete the confirmation with the hotel Fairfield Inn in Emporia Kansas for they did not have our reservation at all. I had to call your help line which is another problem. It takes forever to reach a person wading through all your AI crap....no after I reach a person everything went pretty smoothly the gentleman who helped was great. But I should have never had to deal with this type of problem. I will think twice before using Booking.com for our next Hotel stay. Thank you for hearing me out. Brad Bowen

Easy to find and very accessible

We had a very comfortable stay! The hotel is new(opened December 2025). Our room had plenty of space for 2 small children, Mom, Dad, and Grandma. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The staff were very friendly and let us have an early check in, which was very much appreciated! We will definitely stay here again.
