Rodeway Inn Emporia

Delightful room and really good bathroom. Four bed pillows which were great! All linens were good. Morning breakfast was minimal at best and coffee was cold. Only complaint. Would stay again…price was great.

The room had been repainted and the beds were good. The room was clean. At the time we were there, remodeling was going on in the small lobby area. Non-operating cars on the property was not a good look.

Bed bugs

Make sure you pull the door all the ways shut when you leave because ours caught and needed to be pulled HARD otherwise anyone could access the room. Make sure your peep hole isn't covered by tape and that your window can lock, especially if you are on the first floor. TV was only set up to let you sign into your streaming accounts, so make sure you log out before you leave.

It was a very cheap rate which was good. Having a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker was very nice. House keeping wasn't available everyday. The front desk staff wasn't up front much, but would come when you rang for them. Smoking wasn't allowed, but my room smelled like smoke. There were also problems with the toilet. Overall, it would be a good place for overnight, but I wouldn't stay there again for more than one night.

Guy it was good for the price Nothing

The property was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and parking was convenient. I had a pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again.

I booked a two day stay and only stayed one and switched to another motel. I felt unsafe, someone tried to push the door open during the night. I couldn't sleep. The chair in the room looked like someone died in it; stained with dirt/sweat. The staff told me no one tried to push the door and it was a safe property. They didn't know how to handle that complaint and I had to ask several times to check me out so I would get more charges in case someone did go into the room when I switched. It wasn't just this motel. The others in the area are the same. I drove back to Wichita to get a nice Hilton.

It was peaceful

The shower shut off while I was showering, the light didn’t work in the bathroom, and there was what looked like dried on vomit on one of the walls in the bedroom.

Ac was not the best. Glad is wasn't super hot outside or we would have had to leave. Bathroom sink faucet needed to work better. Shower was fine.

Location to eateries was great. Very run down and old. Room was not clean. Bed was not clean.
