Rodeway Inn Encinitas North

The hotel is being remodeled and the remodeled rooms are very nice with a very useful kitchenette. Housekeeping is very minimal though. They remove trash and change towels. They do not clean bathroom or sweep the floor. When asked at the front desk they replied they only do it upon request because guests complain if they move personal items. They run out of clean bed sheets one day. Found ants in the room and their solution was to give us an ant trap, which they never cleaned the next day. Front desk staff very unhelpful and unprofessional. Rates high. Great location though and they get away charging these rates providing minimum service. Not even coffee.

Place is okay when the price is reasonable.

From the exterior, the motel looks pretty average; however, the rooms themselves were clean, recently updated, and extremely comfortable. Having a fridge, stovetop/burner, and microwave was extremely convenient. Lots of space for luggage and the vanity/sink area was roomy. My one suggestion would be to include a coffeemaker and coffee in each room.

Very nice renovated room with nice style and great kitchenette facilities (no utensils, or cooking pots, etc. though. You need to bring your own). No coffee machine. Very comfortable. Prices reasonable during the week but they go up excessively during the weekend.

Everything was as expected. But beach access is a few blocks ....great location.

The place was nice and updated. Aesthetically it looked really nice, however, I do wish it would have been cleaner. The shower floor seemed dirty but it could have been the been the way the floor looked too. Additionally, I found it odd that they have 3 pillows and 3 towels in a king room for 2 person occupancy, but maybe I'm neat picking at that? The main reason I gave 4 star(debatable 3.8) was because the sleeping area was just not up to par. Sheets were a bit rough, pillows and mattress made my neck and back hurt. As a hotel I feel like this is were you have to have it the best and for me for me it just wasn't.

The property recently has been renovated and was a great stay me and my fiancé had stayed there in the past and it’s greatly improved wonderful staff excellent service 100% recommendation….!!!!!…

The room was very clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and I loved the shower.

Great Value!!! Just renovated... outside was dated but rooms were nice and new and had lots of utility... like even a cooktop. And location is absolutely fantastic right next to Fish 101 which is an amazing place to eat.

Clean, good value hotel. Love the upgrades! It's a bare bones hotel, though. Not a problem for me, but should know there's no elevator, air dryer, coffee maker, etc. If one doesn't need those things, it's a good place to stay.

It was clean, quiet, close to excellent eating places.

Great place to stay, will stay here every time I visit Encinitas.

I’m trying to get a partial refund. The room was very filthy. The maid walked on without knocking. I was staying 2 nights. The linens were awful. Wrinkled, didn’t fit bed. Spiders.
