I was able to be accommodated, due to an over booking error from my previous hotel. Although I was accommodated, my previous room was a suite, where this room was a standard. 2 adults and 4 large children was rather tight. The whole hotel smelled of mildow, as if the carpets had been recently "cleaned" but not allowed proper time to dry. This bothered my allergies so bad and even gave my husband and 1 of my children nose bleeds all night. There also was hair in the shower. Lastly not a big deal, but the water faucets are backwards. The cold is on the left and hot is the right. Took me a while to figure that out.

My stay at the candlewood suites got off to a rocky start. The room I had paid for 2 months in advance was not available when I checked in. I had been downgraded from a one-bedroom suite to a king room. Definitely this was not what I expected nor would I had paid for. they had sold my room to another customer that would be in the room. Two more nights. Though I had paid for four nights, I was only able to stay in the room I paid for in advance two nights. When I ran into trouble during check-in, I was instructed by the hotel's agent to call hotels.com for a refund on the two nights that I had to stay in the king room I did receive a refund even though it wasn't as much as I thought it should be.

The water in the shower never got hot. I let it run for a long while but ended up taking a cold shower.

Wonderful customer service! We stayed two nights and it was perfect. Room was a nice size and had full size frig which came in handy. Would 100% stay again!
