Comfort Inn, Erie - Near Presque Isle

I.likedmyqueen size room.Very spacious and clean. Also very quiet.

Unfortunately, the lobby had flooded the night before our arrival. As a result of the flood, the pool was closed and breakfast was not available a day later. We liked the hotel but felt that we had paid for our breakfasts, and that Comfort Inn should have offered a partial refund since they didn't have to present any food.

Clean. TV was fair. Internet spotty. Bathtub drain was not working.

The rooms smelled musty and like mildew. The toilet broke during our stay so we had to move rooms the last night because maintenance never came. Towels were unavailable because they were still in the dryer. The breakfast items and condenments were never stocked. The back parking lot is the main parking lot but the door is locked at 10 and no entrance even with your room key. No freezer in the refrigerator to put your ice packs. There was mildew on the curtains and there was not a fan in the bathroom so it was so fogged up and made everything in the room damp.

I love how close this hotel is to Presque Isle. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. I just wish the beds were a little more comfortable. I could feel the springs in our mattress. If it wasn't for that, then I would rate it 5/5. The continental breakfast is your normal, no complaints there. Overall it's a nice place to stay. We didn't utilize the pool but it looked nice and clean.

The hotel was very run down and very dirty. Mold in the bathroom. Bathroom floor was not maintained and not clean. Hallway carpet was buckled. Door handle was old.

The check in staff was amazing, great recommendations for dinner. The property is dated and our room had mold in the bathroom. I advised the AM desk staff. The carpet in the hall and room was dingey and torn. Room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average. The toaster has no handles to push the toast down.

I wanted to stay here because the reviews said the place was clean. I checked in and the 2 night time girls at the desk were dressed like they were homeless. When I went to my room the carpet and the tub was filthy. There also was hair in the tub drain and one of the beds. I left and checked into another hotel. Very disappointed.

Everything was good! I was assuming that we would receive housekeeping services! But apparently not if you don’t ask for clean towels , you won’t get them ! No one wants to use the same towels and wash cloths ! Everything else was great !

Our stay at this hotel in Erie, PA, was extremely disappointing. From the moment we checked in, we were uncomfortable with the experience. A highly violent movie was playing in the lobby during check-in. Had we been traveling with children, this would have been extremely inappropriate—period. The hotel itself is very run down. The carpet throughout the hallways and lobby was filthy and gave the entire property an unclean appearance. The outdoor was dirty, thus we were uncomfortable swimming in it. Our room had several problems as well. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the wall-mounted dispensers. The large light and fan in the bathroom did not work. The sink was clogged and would bring up gunk and hair whenever it was used. There is visible mold in the shower. For what we paid, we expected a much cleaner, better-maintained hotel. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short of those expectations. I will never stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Hotel is dated but rooms were decently clean and spacious. Check in was smooth and staff friendly. Breakfast was a usual hotel breakfast, very busy and was hard for staff to keep up but you could see they were trying. Great location

Erie Pennsylvania is home to a fantastic hotel that offers a convenient stay. The hotel is conveniently located near stores, restaurants, parks, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Our stay at the hotel was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was simply delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. However, we must admit that the bathtub on the side of the wall could use some more attention to cleanliness.

Hotel experienced total electrical failure during the night, which took several hours to repair. Need electrical generator installed to prevent similar problems.

Not clean

Greay stay! Staff at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast had a great amount of choices for the whole family. We really enjoyed the pool.

Phone to front desk was not working. Front desk staff was very nice with assisting our needs.

The pool need attention as all around deck bugs and dirt in pool. The breakfast area was to say below standards is an understatement. Toaster broken and no way to warm bagels bread ect. Powdered eggs is a waste of time. Lots of little things too many to mention.
