The room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was nice, loved the bacon. The outdoor pool was heated which was nice. Met a lot of friendly people. However being on the first floor meant dealing with people in the room above who were very heavy footed and hearing children running back and forth across the room. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Trash in the lobby, trash in the hallways. After I checked out water was leaking from the ceiling of the lobby. The lotion dispenser was empty. Stain on one of the towels and the bed sheets. Would not stay again. Didn’t happen to us but apparently this other family didn’t have a working shower so he flipped out on the staff when they wouldn’t give him another room or issue a refund. Staff was stressed out and less friendly than Im used to.

Not a bad stay, but not great either. The overall condition of the hotel is pretty poor - the hallway carpet was torn in multiple locations, our bathroom had several areas of mold or peeled wallpaper, with the tub/shower diverter stuck in the shower position. The lampshade in our room was stained as were the bed skirts. The mattresses had allergen/bug covers on them, which provided some peace of mind, but was concerned that they were needed. We stayed for 2 nights but our room was not serviced after our first night even though we were out of our room most of the day, and our door really needed to be pushed hard to properly latch and lock. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was standard but good. Having a 24 hr coffee and hot chocolate station was a nice touch. And the location was ideal for our visit to the beach and Waldameer. A refresh of the rooms and corridors are greatly needed.

This hotel is has a good location. Have stayed here 3 years in a row. But it is going downhill. No lights in the parking lot (was told they are on a timer that comes on at 10pm) so it is pitch black trying to get kids and luggage inside while avoiding potholes. Shower was moldy and didnt work right. Breakfast is pretty good, but it runs out often so you have to wait. My overall assessment is that if a corner can be cut to save money, it is being cut. Probably our last stay here after 3 years.

Complementary breakfast were great. Staff was great. Room was very nice. Only thing was the carpet in the lobby was worn to maybe a tripping hazard.

The hotel was clean, staff was helpful and for the most part we enjoyed our stay. I didn't appreciate Saturday at the pool, many people from the area came and used the swimming pool, it was a mess by the end of the day.

This property was horrendous. Poorly maintained inside and out. Ripped and torn wallpaper in the halls and rooms. Carpet in the halls and rooms frayed snd coming up from the floor. The bathroom floor was disgusting. The walls in the bathroom were literally rotting and falling apart. There were stains on the ceiling and lamps. The curtains in the rooms were made to NOT close! We were in a first floor that faced the pool so people were right outside our room. When we arrived we did not notice (until we were Lea ing for dinner) that our door did not lock. The girl from the front desk was helpful and nice and had to come down herself to fix. Then at night the pool and outside lights shined into our room. The worst was when we were getting ready for bed and I noticed a PILE OF BIRD FEATHERS on the floor between the bed and the wall!!! In the morning I spoke with the GM, who was also nice and explained that the owners were going to sell so did not do any improvements but then changed their minds and have upgrades and improvements scheduled for the future. How far into the future I do not know. This room was $250.00/night with tax. The pictures were totally misleading and obviously old. The reviews I read I cannot understand how these people thought this place was nice.

Given a room with a broken shower. Front desk said they couldn’t do anything. Asked for a refund, they said no. At breakfast, asked for some milk for cereal…attendant said no. Remainder of breakfast was nearly inedible… thank goodness for the waffle iron. Will never stay at another Comfort Inn

The hairdryer didn’t work.

Staff were amazing. However the reviews didn’t match the property. It was kind of dirty and bathrooms especially the tub surround was moldy and dirty. Comforters were stained. We didn’t make it to breakfast but it smelled very good

The pool was being repaired when we arrived but was fixed the next day. Very outdated room. No fan in the bathroom, no mirror in the room. The curtains were in need of rehanging in our room. The ice machine was gone, we had to visit another floor to find ice. We will not be staying at this Comfort inn again.

We’ve never left a hotel before our check out date, nor have I ever left a bad review before but this was just atrocious. Do not let the location & price fool you, this is NOT a good hotel and it’s a shame that they aren’t keeping up the property.

The first room we were placed in was dirty after contacting the front desk they moved us to another room. Front desk staff was extremely accommodating
-
The hair dryer in our room did not work. Maintenance was not available and there wasn’t another room we could be moved to or a portable hair dryer available. Disappointing as a woman who blow dries her hair daily and purposely did not bring one from home since one was supposedly included in the room amenities.

We got there in the pool was closed The bed made noise and was off balance The breakfast left a lot to be desired they had biscuits and gravy but no biscuits just gravy
-
The room was not clean from last residents: there was a dirty towel under the shelf in the bathroom as well as a dirty kleenex and a tube of an unknown substance behind the nightstand next to one of the beds. Also, there was mold on the grout in the bathrrom and no towel racks..used towels had to be just thrown on the floor. In addition, the desk chair had a piece missing. Also, on three occassions I went down to the main desk, rang the bell and no one came to help. Although the breakfast was very good, items were often missing and we had to make multiple trips down to get what we needed.

Great place to stay! So close to Presque Isle State Park. The waffles for breakfast were amazing and Loved the swimming pool too! My only complaint is that the sink and shower drains need cleaned the water went down very slow otherwise it's a great place

Our breakfast was good and the front desk staff were good.

We have stayed here a couple of times a few years back. Well, I have to say it needs updated. A couple things that were ok was the price and a place to sleep. Now for things that were obvious, the carpet leading to the front desk is bunched up and going to be a trip hazard, the toilet seat in our room was broke, the room was tidy but definitely could have used a better cleaning. The beds seem to be a little worn not comfortable at all. Also, both beds when you sat on the bottom it felt like it was broken and made an awful sound. The breakfast at the least was horrible. The eggs were watery, sausage was over cooked, the orange juice wasn't juice at all, it was like water. Noticing a few other things thru out hotel crown molding was taped I suppose to keep from falling out. At the elevator door drywall had holes in it. This hotel used to be, friendly, very nice and comfortable. Not so much anymore. Our next trip to Erie I will be looking for accommodations elsewhere. Thank You.
