Glass House Inn Erie Near I-90 & I-79

Clean room. Friendly staff

The property is old and needs updating. The room looked clean but our socks were black after walking around a bit. The pool was ok. The mattresses and pillowed were decent.

Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Pool was fun but chilly.

This is a revived, old-school motor court type motel owned and operated but a friendly and kind family. It has been renovated recently and we found it to be clean, safe, convenient, and sufficient for our long weekend.

The room was very clean and well kept. Our only issue was the shower. The water did not drain properly and you end up standing in inches of water. There was a slight lip so the water stayed in the shower other wise it would have been on the other part of the floor. The staff was very friendly and the Breakfast they served was also good. This was our second time staying here. I would recommend it. It was very close to Waldameer where we spent the day.

We ended up not staying. The property was dirty and the staff was not helpful

The room was clean and bathroom beautifully remodeled. It was nice to sit by the pool and in the gazebo. This is a great location close to Presque isle!

Need to put some money into the place. Bed was lumpy and squeaky. Pool was cloudy. Room was musty. Staff was nice.

Often dull in the summer months because it’s such a short drive to Presque Isle and Waldameer.

The blind in our room was stuck but the manager did fix the problem right away. The hot water in the shower took a long time to get warm. The breakfast did not include eggs or bacon.The place is older not like the big motels that we as a family have stayed at in the past maybe we expected more because of that factor.

Great location , quiet and nice. Everything like presque island, mall, zoo etc. is within minutes. Definitely will be returning

We checked out a day early because the mattresses were so uncomfortable and sheets were stained. I let the staff know that is why we left early and requested a partial refund and they never responded.

The Glass House is an older motel with upgraded rooms that are simple in furnishings and decor but clean and comfortable with all expected necessities. The location was excellent for us—less than 10 minutes to Presque Isle and about 10 to downtown Erie. Basic breakfast. Outdoor pool looked nice. Property well kept although exterior could use a fresh coat of paint. Would stay here again.

Air conditioning worked well and the room was clean. The bathroom was small but updated. Comfortable and a good rate compared to other options.

The room was ok furniture was old . Bathroom small has two hold on the wall were the towel bar was. It’s seems need updating for the property pool was old, sign too.

We would not recommend staying at this property. The room was not clean. Although the room is a non-smoking room. Everyone was able to sit on benches right outside the door and a/c unit. So the smoke came intro the room anyway. It was very noisy. The walls are paper thin and the paint was peeling off in places. You could hear conversations in the room next to you and right outside your room. The bedding and mattress had “unknown” stains dripping down the sides and the “clean” towels were brown. There was no place to put travel bags or toiletries. The shower drain was clogged with hair that wasn’t ours and would back-up every morning. The pictures are not accurate at all. It was a lot of money to pay, to stay at such a crappy place.

The check in was easy. The room was clean. There was a mini fridge, microwave and a small coffee pot. Looks like the rooms were all recently updated. The bathroom was super cute. The pool was nice and refreshing. The breakfast was make your own waffles, donuts, cereals, apples, bananas and oranges, oatmeal, coffee and juices. Definitely would stay again!
