American Inn Evansville

After only being at the hotel for two hours, I decided to leave the room stunk of musty mold. The AC sucked. It was so hot and humid, and it made the smell even worse. The toilet had nasty marks all over it. I tried to wipe it off with bleach wipes but it was very disgusting. I had to leave when it was time for me to use the bathroom. I couldn't stay any longer. I had to check myself out. It was not worth the price at all. There was people that seemed to be on drugs people fighting in the hallways. They banged up against the wall and almost gave me a heart attack the mattress, had blood on it. The sheets had holes and the pillowcases had holes from burn marks from cigarettes. This place was very disgusting and every since I left I feel like stuff is crawling in my hair. I'm going to be getting checked for head lice if I could take back ever going there, I would in a heartbeat

Nothing! My granddaughter and I left!!! We were scared! There was a man sitting on the curb out front, smoking and it smelled like weed! We went inside and a man was sitting on a very old couch with a cigarette or something to smoke but it said no smoking! The lady at the front desk was behind glass with only a slot to slide my ID into. She had to call someone for help and she unlocked 3 locks on her door!!!! Everything was very dark and very old looking like from the 60’s. We took an elevator up to the 3rd floor and again it was very dark looking and not much light. We went inside the room and it was so dark and old and smelled like weed. We were afraid and decided we had to leave! There was a strip joint right beside it and the people we saw outside were hardly dressed! It was not a place for a family!!!

Not much Never returned my $25 deposit!

So i explained to them I absolutely did not want anyone to come in my room for anything if im gone from the hotel for a moment. The night came, I showered and I left for a little bit only to come back and see some of my items we out of place, I mentioned this to them and they said house keeping went in there. Only my dirty towels were still on the floor in the bathroom and I didn’t see any new ones where they had been replaced so if housekeeping was in there then how come the dirty towels are still there and I didn’t have any new ones to be able to take a shower the next days. And they kept trying to find a little bitty reasons to keep my deposit the next day the first night I stayed there. There was blood all over the sheet that was underneath the headboard that area like a lot of blood like like it’s fresh or something like somebody that was previously there left and all they do was make the bed instead of washing the sheets yuck I didn’t realize that I slip on that until the next day.

Went into my room when I was at work. Claiming he smelled smoke and that was a lie. I was appalled to find this out. The whole place smells like an ashtray and not to mention checked me into a a dirty room but did change it. I was visiting for work but I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Don’t leave your belongings inside either. Obviously, it doesn’t matter if the do not disturb sign is on the door. Manager is shady!!!

Had problem with the Wi-Fi connection but the head guy came down and put his password in and I got my Wi-Fi up. The toilet on the other hand with the smallest one I ever seen in my life it was hard to get down to and hard to get up off of I did not use the shower facility cuz they were old and it was afraid I was going to fall but the room in itself the bed was comforting I'd never had a bouncy bath I was on a trampoline to sit there and just bounce up and down like that it was other than that the room was comfortable

The internet was suspect in that it did not always connect. The microwave was not usuable. The air conditioner thermostat was inconsistant. Because of the building's age, there were too few accessible electrical outlets in the room. Visits to other sites belonging to this brand were a far better result.

It was a nice quiet stay but its definitely outdated
