Courtyard by Marriott Evansville East

Location No housekeeping. All but one housekeepers called sick. We had to get our own towels. Bed sheets didn’t fit. Refrigerator had to be reset every 2 hours. Ridiculous.

Bristo is a joke, so is the Starbucks coffee, rather have a breakfast like most hotels with unlimited coffee - Bathroom soap dispensers to high to reach - shower head adjustment too high and I'm 5 ft 10 -

1. The outside trash can by the front entrance was over full each day we were there, however, it was due to a lot of guest who were with the vintage car clubs that was in town. 2. There were 2 TVs in our room/suite and only one worked. The one that didn't work could not connect to the cable network. However, that was a minor inconvenience. 3. The room refrigerator is enclosed in a cabinet on the floor. When we arrived, there was water inside the bottom of the fridge due to the freezer part defrosting. Inside the cabinet was very hot and the fridge had an automatic turn-off after 8 hours. This made it useless to us, as we had a few items that needed to be kept cold. We did end up tossing a few things in the trash since they were too warm. The TV and the fridge situations were reported to two members of the staff. I hope they have been addressed by now. Other than these three things, our stay was very enjoyable.

It was clean and staff was friendly No free breakfast, you pay that much for a room and o complimentary breakfast

Jake and Meredith are absolute rock stars in customer service. I'm at 20+ years of retail management and curating the customer experience. Jake and Meredith are impressive and you should be proud to have such a culture that attracts that level of professionalism and compassion. I had many canceled flights and redirected travel arrangements getting to Evansville. I'm so glad I chose your hotel and met this amazing team. Absolutely lifted my spirits and had great restaurant recommendations too. 10/10

Very nice room. Comfortable bed. Foot rest/shelf in shower falling apart. TV wasn't easy to turn on - almost had to switch rooms but with a staff member we finally figured it out.

Also I thought continental breakfast was included with our stay. But they had a independent restaurant in the lobby that was charging for breakfast items. Sincerely, Craig Ludwick

Good bistro food and staff, poor communication between front desk and housekeeper, halls and elevator were hot,bad smell in the room, no body wash in the bathroom

All good.

The rooms were clean, it was a great location. The beds were so soft they weren’t very comfortable. The refrigerator in the room was very, very small and barely cold. This made it a challenge for keeping drinks cold. The biggest frustration was there was no complimentary coffee in the hotel. We knew in advance that there was no included breakfast, but there was no indication in advance that there wouldn’t be coffee. I have never been at a hotel that didn’t offer coffee, so that was really frustrating.

location was close to target & other stores. also super close to cracker barrel, which we had planned on going to for breakfast! would definitely stay here again!

We arrived at 4pm check in and was told our room was not ready. We had a dinner and concert to get to and was assured room would be ready when we returned. When we returned around 1130pm that evening we were told there was a computer glitch and our room was given to someone else. We were then given a paper and told we had an other room waiting for us at another hotel. This happened to other guests as well. No discount or anything given for our inconvenience. Will not book against!
