Comfort Inn & Suites Fairburn - Atlanta Southwest

The service was poor and checked me in the wrong room after I told him we needed to change it. Was told to call the 3rd party company we purchased the room on. Then they told us the hotel has to agree and they now denied switching rooms even if all we had to do was pay the difference.

For a hotel that had 8.0 in rating from Expedia, I would have expected a lot better accommodations. The hallway smelled really stale and musty. My room was as damp as could be and slamming doors kept waking me up all night. It was disappointing because comfort inn used to be quality hotels but that has since changed.

I would say the stay was overall just Ok, there are some updates need to be done to the rooms, there was cracked walls in the bathroom, and the floor boards. both tvs kept giving us issues the entire time of stay, maintenance came twice to fix the issue twice but the remote stopped working, the volume will go down, or the tv will be blank altogether . the breakfast was good, with a decent spread , the employees were friendly .

Mold on the ac vents, room smell horrible the room floors were caked with dirt just a very disgusting room.

The checkin was quick. Staff was nice. The elevator was noisy and rough. I thought it would break down any time! You could hear people up and down the hall, going in and out! Breakfast was greasy and no taste. 1 elevator, noisy. 1 ice machine downstairs. No fridge or microwave in room. Room was clean enough. Won’t be back.

Only stayed one night. Hotel clean bed slept good. Wendy Restaurant walking distance. Breakfast were ok. Staff were friendly. Didn't use the pool.
