Woodcliff Hotel and Spa

I lost power at my house so I decided to go to woodcliff. Nice hotel water was black when I tried to shower. Staff assured me would go away in a couple hours we ran it still very dark water. 1130pm I checked out no need for the room if I can't shower. I expressed my problem with staff. I've been passed along saying a manager will contact me. I've tried thru phone and email it's been 6 weeks today someone told me I have to contact expedia so here I am. Can I have my payment back?

Rooms a little musty but comfortable. Restaurant food was excellent. Room service was quick and delicious too. The Grab n Go was meh. I passed on that. Spa was only ok. Nothing spectacular about the services. My hot stone message should have been much better, it was more like a touch of stone. The facial was nice except that she wore latex gloves and that diminished my enjoyment of the facial. It felt weird, it smelled weird and it sounded weird. The spa itself was gorgeous, with breathtaking views. Not a great selection of teas and some of the guests were on their phones in the relaxation area which I find stressful when I'm trying to relax. So no real deal breakers here, I would stay again. But pass on the spa.

Outdoor pool wasn’t in service

Property is poorly maintained. Room is very tired. Worst of all there were areas that weren’t clean, e.g. the bathroom floor, the shower door track, crumbs in the fridge, the bottom of the ONE wast basket. There one uncomfortable office chair in the double queen bed room and no place else to sit.

Not enough focus on cleaning details. Ants in room. Window screen not washed.

Location

I’ve stayed here 3 times when coming to the area for concerts. The property grounds are exceptional and you must walk around at least once to enjoy the gardens and scenery. The hiking trail makes for a good start to the morning. I’ve never used the pool or spa but they look wonderful. The rooms are perfectly clean and updated. I love and prefer this hotel!!

Seems run down compared to our previous stays. Bartenders are amazing though!

This is not something I would expect when paying for what is marketed as a high-quality hotel experience. While I understand that hotels host events, guests should be made aware when they are being assigned a room that is likely to be significantly affected by noise, especially when alternative accommodations may be available. I was traveling with an infant, and neither of us was able to sleep through the noise. As a result, what should have been a restful evening became an exhausting experience that made traveling home the following day far more difficult than it needed to be. It's particularly disappointing because the rest of my stay was enjoyable. Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed everything else and turned what could have been an excellent stay into one that I have no intention of repeating.

Beautiful grounds next to golf course. Free Starbucks coffee daily. Room was very clean and comfortable. We loved staying at Woodcliff.

Our room smelled of musky air and TV didn’t work.

We got into the room, the window was open. Heat and noise were terrible due to the open window. Called twice and still after 6 hours no one came to remedy the issue. After visiting the front desk a 3rd time, someone finally was sent to the room and maintenance didn't even know what they were there for. The room was a closet across from the elevators. After all of that we decided to depart from the hotel and go elsewhere. So we are looking to get the refund for the 2nd night we decided not to stay due to the issues. Heard this place was amazing, not so much for us sadly. Very disappointed.

Looked in advance for a quick place to stay between a two night concert trip. And found this right in the price range of less reviewed places. And I have to say I will absolutely be looking here again if I ever need to stay in the area!

The indoor pool was nice but the outdoor pool was inoperable and wasn’t being worked on. The restaurant was nice and the food was good as well. The view from the room was nice but the windows were slightly dirty, the room was nice but the carpet was also slightly dirty. The bed was ok, it was more firm with noticeable springs every so often. Fair all things considered, it was an older building and was in need of some upkeep. I’d rate it 3 stars, just not somewhere I’d like to stay a second time.

Outdoor pool was closed during our 3 night stay. There were no communications about that before we arrived. An outdoor pool was 1 of the top features I wanted when booking, so this was very disappointing. Room was not serviced when requested 2x

The spa experience could have been better

My stay was brief but excellent staff accommodation for early check in before the official 4pm was appreciated

This place was adorable! Live music, golfing with my honey, and a hike to write home about. Will definitely be staying here again.

Just a blast spending the weekend here for a wedding. We have a dog and we’re there for a wedding so it was great to be able to stay right where the wedding was! Just a great stay and wish it lasted longer!
