Everything perfect

This was a HUGE disappointment and we will not return. The room was not very clean. The pool was closed due to maintenance. The water was shut off, also due to maintenance, the morning we were leaving so we couldn't shower. The restaurant stops room service too early at 9 pm. The spa is closed on Sunday when we arrived and couldn't be available until 10:30 on Monday when we were leaving. The prices of spa services and food were too high. We had a cliff side view but the outside of the windows were dirty. The toilet paper holder was broken, it was coming out of the wall. The desk staff were rude and not helpful when we had a problem with our booking. They didn't do anything to fix it or offer any solutions. This hotel is older and needs updating. I don't recommend.

Poolside loungers were available however you had to walk inside to swim. No towels at pool twice. Young children in hot tub at all times we were at pool. Our room was clean although it smelled like stinky cheese. Air conditioner very loud. Restaurant had great view of property. Food was mediocre at best. Wait staff very pleasant. Manager came by table several times. Became quite annoying. Water jugs in lobby was usually close to empty and containers looked dirty. The property is beautiful with great views. Spa service wa incredible. One of the best massages I have ever had. Thanks Tim. This resort needs some major updating to maintain a 4 star rating.

Room had roaches coming. Out of the ceiling

We have not received the security deposit back yet which was deducted at the time of check in….

Really nice resort with beautiful views. They are currently renovating so a few of the areas were not accessible to us. We would like to stay again when renovations are completed.

Hotel is slightly dated, but was clean and perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft. Bathroom was beautiful and the grounds were terrific.

Ignored Accessibility: A guest with me has knee issues and can't do stairs. I messaged the day before arrival to request a room change after realizing the suite was two stories. They ignored it, and at check-in, staff made zero effort to help. No Warnings: At check-in, we were blindsided that the outdoor pool was closed (a main reason I booked). They also announced that water to the whole hotel would be shut off from 8 AM to 2 PM on our last day. Advance notice was completely missing. Filthy, Damaged Room: The floors were dirty and the furniture was dusty and smudged. Dried food was under the glass-topped furniture. Housekeeping didn't even vacuum after management promised to have it mopped. The toilet had black stains, walls had holes, paint was peeling/discolored and a leaking sink had the floor rotting underneath. Missing Basics: The room lacked blinds on the main floor, a dining table, chairs, and kitchen supplies despite them being in the photos. Our only two glasses were never replaced. Refunded spa fees for the inability to use the pool don't replace a safe, clean, accessible stay. I feel like the room was a forgotten attic or the room you get to see on remodeling home show. There was a sign in the hallway to “excuse our remodeling dust in the hall.” The hall was cleaner than our room!

Beautiful and relaxing stay at the Woodcliff.

Amazing spa and restaurant

Windows were pretty grimy, the walls are really thin where I could hear full on conversations of the people next door, and the outdoor pool was closed for maintenance and a bit unsightly. Also there was no coffee options for when the Starbucks closed which was a bit disappointing. The towels and robe were starchy. One of the bottles in the shower was empty.

This was a nice hotel on pretty grounds. I still don’t know where that room is that’s used for their main photo on here, because that’s not the vibe of the hotel at all. It was fairly outdated inside, but nice enough. One major detractor for us was that the elevator chime was SO LOUD that you could clearly hear every single elevator ride coming and going at any hour. I’m glad this was only a one night stay for us. The staff was friendly, but it took them 30-40 minutes just to bring us a couple extra blankets, which I thought was strange.

The bathroom had hair around the shower and one outlet was completely sticking out of the wall. The other outlet only worked if the wall switch was turned on from across the room. The last outlet didn’t hold the plugs. Outdated room in need of some tlc. From desk could have cared less.

We arrived at 6:30 pm and our room was not ready. The workout facility was dirty. Our room was not cleaned. We asked for 2 wine glasses and got paper cups. Very disappointing

The property and the rooms were clean. The staff was helpful and professional. I didn’t have time to use the spa unfortunately. The two meals I had at the hotel were delicious and the wait staff were excellent.

Great stay! Property was in excellent shape

The pool wasn’t heated and our room wasn’t cleaned after asking that the room be cleaned. Had to ask for coffee to be replenished.

When we arrived around 9:00 PM, our room had clearly not been properly cleaned. There was an open bottle of wine left in the refrigerator, and the toilet seat appeared to have blood stains on it. We were exhausted from traveling and didn’t want to deal with changing rooms late at night, so we ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves with Clorox wipes. The next morning, we went to breakfast and had another frustrating experience. A guest who arrived after us received both his order and his food before we did. When we asked about our order, the server explained that the other guest was on a time crunch. We responded that we were as well, which is exactly why we had come down early for breakfast. When we returned to our room later that day, we discovered that housekeeping had not serviced it at all. The following morning, we went to the front desk because it was difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. We asked whether housekeeping was no longer provided daily. The front desk associate assured us that it was and said he would make sure someone took care of our room that day.

The staff wqs cordial, helpful and very efficient. We arrived early and our room was already ready. The window and the ceiling near to it in to our room had water damage and was leaking around the window frame because of the rain. I called and a staff member arrived promptly to give us the option to change rooms. We did with some trouble with the door keys that was also quickly resolved by a staff member. The faucet in the shower was detached to the wall so whenever we wanted to direct the water to the shower, we had to be very careful. Otherwise, the room and hotel overall is well kept. The spa area is beautiful, the staff there skillful and amazing. The restaurant was very nice, loved the live music, and the food was delicious!
