GunRunner Boutique Hotel

I gave the hotel **** because there was no hot water on the morning we left and nobody to fix it. Other than that the place is really wonderful.

Cool, niche boutique hotel. The "lobby" is an amazing historical bar with direct access to your room. Everything was thought out to the last detail!

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is polite and helpful. Great bar! Our second trip to the Gunrunner and we will be back!

Excellent location and a unique and well thought out regeneration of an old building. Didn’t see a lift so beware as there are two flights of stairs, but it’s worth it!

Bar and rooftop were great and drinks were excellent. Location was great. However, we had problems with plumbing fixtures, door lock and noisy a/c unit. We felt that price point should’ve involved a full time front desk with baggage assistance. There was no elevator and stairs were required to get to rooms.

Run, don't walk to book yourself a room here!!!! Thank me later!

Very nice

Flawless execution by the Gunrunner staff from beginning to end! The pre-arrival instructions were spot-on. Our room was clean and personalized for us when we arrived (they had left us a gift of wine and a card congratulating us for our wedding anniversary that we were there celebrating - nice touch!). We were staying in Florence to see some of the local sites and restaurants, but the highlight was the Gunrunner bar and many seating areas around the bar. We were able to listen to some live music and just chill. The ambience fit our goal for the weekend. The Gunrunner was a great experience and we look forward to going back!

Loved the roof top bar, decor of the room, balcony to sit on with our afternoon cocktail. Property is wonderfully close to downtown restaurants. We happened to be there on a festival weekend so there were lots of things going on close to the hotel which was a nice surprise. Pricey stay - but you pay for what you get which is a wonderful boutique hotel experience!

Really nice design and re-use of an older building. Room was very spacious. Very convenient to downtown attractions. The music artifacts were interesting and fun to look at. A little awkward entry. Staff were barely present and the main room and bar were depressing. The coffee shop next door did not have much to offer for breakfast.

I note that I could hear the bar and music, but the bar closed around 10:00, when I went to bed. It took a little while to get hot water, but then it was fine. There needs to be better instructions to operate the (useful!) electronic devices & it would help to tell people that registration is at the bar.

It was not very accessible. An elevator would've been nice to help get luggage up to the main level. Also, our room needed an extra mirror in the living space and better lighting. Most of the time there was no one around to ask questions, help, etc. A phone # is nice, but not like having a real person to talk with.

We adored our 2 night stay at The Gunrunner! The downtown Florence location was delightful. Easy to walk about this charming town. The uniqueness of this locally owned boutique hotel was worth the price. Exquisitely comfortable beds! Lovely gathering space that all rooms opened out onto. Rooftop deck was beautiful. Highly recommend!
