The Stricklin Hotel

The parking was street parking and it was not ideal having to lug those bags around for blocks. Overall its a nice place to stay - just not for my situation

Nice exclusive stay, great staff...

The bathroom ceiling above shower was beginning to mold from a previous leak from above room. Also the AC unit had a slow drip as we were there a couple of days to notice the issues. I reported them to housekeeping staff and saw them noting issues. Super kind with additional waters and fresh towels as needed. Also brought us an air purifier. No compensation or offer to move us. Honestly, we were so busy enjoying the festival that we didn’t pursue it either.

I loved that it was in walking distance of several restaurants and shops. Not great on parking.

Great place to stay. I stay regularly when visiting Florence. Wonderful shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend.

Nice place to stay in downtown Florence. Very convenient central location. DON’T get a room on the front side of the hotel facing Court St. !! It sounds like a riot outside at 1:00 a.m. when the bars close.

Located in downtown with great access to restaurants, parks and entertainment. Parking deck wasn’t ideal but not expensive. Bed was too soft for our preference.

In town for Handy Festival. Hotel was in the middle of everything allowing walk to all events. The staff, the property, and the reasonable price made this a special place. Will definitely go back

The hotel was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is centrally located downtown and it has restaurants and parking at walking distance.

By far the best place I've stayed. Clean, and lovely rooms. I didnt find anything I didn't like.

the 3rd floor seating room was hot, couldn't utilize it

Our stay last night was very unpleasant. We were super excited about our stay with you all, as the hotel is very quaint and has so much character and charm. The hotel was also extremely convenient for a wedding we attended just a few blocks away. However, our room was extremely loud, as the wall of our headboard backed up to the club, FloBama, directly next door. The music went on until after 2:00 AM, and the traffic noise (e.g., honking horns, motorcycle traffic, screaming and yelling) continued for hours later. I regret staying at your location, and will advise others against it as well. There should be a warning so guests can expect to be unable to sleep until after 3 AM. The money we paid for the room was extremely overpriced, and I sure wish we could receive a refund or discounted rate, as we were unable to sleep at all and left before 7 AM, so we could come home to TN and sleep in our own quiet bed.

The location is so convenient was able to walk to restaurants and around town in the evening. Super friendly staff. Very cool building for a hotel. The air was out in the upstairs stairway/hallway. It would be nice to have better coffee access in the morning other than having to order room service. Wish the game room and all was open!!
