AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach

Room booked was not

The hotel is clean and close to everything. However the pool is under renovation and was not disclosed until after booking. The rooms are clean. The front desk is not welcoming and greet guests with not much enthusiasm or respect. Other than one person who works there and we made sure we got her when needed something she was so helpful, unfortunately didn’t get her name. It worked afternoon shifts. The hotel charges 30 dollars a day destination fee? Gives you a 15 dollar credit a day per room but not often used.

Pool is under construction but your able to use neighbor hotel pool. Chairs are included at the beach but not the umbrella $30. Valet was the most expensive ever $56.

If you’re looking forward to the roof top pool, it is under maintenance. The gym is A1 to say it’s a hotel gym. Besides that the Valet service is very responsive. Very Clean Room. I love the showers. Nothing less than great views for this beach front hotel. I loved everything besides a few things.

I was charged $100 parking for one night. This was the resort fee and the parking fee plus another additional tax. Absolutely ridiculous!

Just wish pool was open during our stay

The pool was out of service during the summer season. The room description and attached pictures can be misleading. The shower would sometimes not drain. The valet parking customer service was professional.

The accommodations were excellent and the staff was amazing.

Front Desk staff names Cathy was absolutely amazing, as well as the morning bartender. Very disappointed it wasn't told to us until check in that the pool was being renovated and we had to walk down the street to use a diff pool.

Excellent place to stay close to everything

I will not recommend this hotel. I was not given the room that I booked and they weren't very accommodating. Please do not stay here

J'ai apprécié la vue de ma chambre et la tranquillité de l'hôtel. La piscine a fermé pour rénovations lorsque nous étions là et nous n'avions pas été avisé au préalable. Nous avons eu accès à la piscine d'un hôtel voisin, mais si nous avions su, nous aurions réserver à un autre hôtel. Également, il y a eu des problèmes avec les ascenseurs les 2 dernières journées. Avec 10 étages et seulement 1 ascenseur, il fallait être patient.
