Great Experience! Came down for 2day stayed 1 night while family was visiting. Our room was very spacious and was fully stocked with amenities. The bathroom was clean amd had beach vibes which is nice to come back to from visiting the beach located directly across the street. Front Desk staff and check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. The resorts around the area where a bit out dated so the modern clean feel was a win win. The parking lot is very tight so if you have little ones watch how they open the doors so no nicks on paint scratches. I did not see surveillance cameras in the lot but do hear from locals that cars get broken into so I did check occasionally on ours. The hotel was great and they things you can use at the beach just make sure to return them back in spots you grabbed from. The 5th floor roof Terrence is beautiful and the view is great with a nice breeze. Only downfall is the elevator is only way up or down to it and if you are costrophobic that ride is a tad longer then would like. I would definitely book again if needed to go this area.

The view and location were perfect. The parking situation is a little iffy, but everything else was great!

Lovely staff, a little outdated but everything was great!

The property is one of the older ones in the area but has the most character. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the location was perfect. If you're looking for a clean stay right on the beach this is the one. I went with my husband and kids and having the chairs, toys, and towels at the hotel was a big reason for my choosing this hotel (less packing!) Overall my experience at the hotel was good, it’s dated but it was exactly what we needed for a quick trip to beach with the kids.

Traveled with my family of four, two adults, and two kids ages 13 and 10. We stayed here for one night after a cruise. We got there very early after driving from the port of Miami so our room was not ready. They charged us $20 to have an early check-in and our room was ready around 12:30. We went and had breakfast at the restaurant right next-door, called Casablanca‘s, then walked up and down the little stores on the strip, finally settling in at a Starbucks near the Westin until our room was ready. Staff was friendly. Room was great! Great size, would be great if spending more time in the area because our room also had a small kitchenette that included a large refrigerator, microwave and sink, including dishes and silverware. We ordered food in that evening and then left the next morning to catch our flight. The only thing that would’ve been nice was maybe having a pool. Although this hotel is located directly on the beach. After having several beach days on a cruise, just having a pool to hang out at would have been nice. Would recommend.

Room was clean roomy and cozy, staff was super nice and welcoming. Plenty of restaurants and beach was easily accessible across the street.

We love this location and the fact it's a boutique hotel. Could use a few upgrades (better towels, tissue paper). Parking is a pain due to the size of the spaces and one way only. This was our 2nd time here, and we will stay again. Love the location, love the outdoor sitting areas, especially love the rooftop area. We will definitely stay here again. Manager is super friendly and helpful, too!

I booked this for my husband and son, and their feedback is that the property is extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, they were close to the beach and enjoyed the rooftop deck (although briefly). It has a bit of an old-fashioned Florida roadside hotel feel to it, but that's charming, and the place is well-maintained even though it's not new. A very nice stay!

“Hotel” (more a motel) was old. The room itself was nice looking. The AC cooled the room some but it never got cold. The bathroom had no ventilation. It got hot in there quick. Elevator was small. We had to go one at a time with our luggage. The parking was less than desirable. Small lot you can only back out of onto the main road. Front desk gentleman was nice. Would we stay here again? No. But for us staying 1 night while going thru town it was alright.

Truly a hidden gem! Never stayed there before, but once we settled in, my wife and I realized how fortunate we were to have stumbled upon this place (Sort of a retro Florida look and feel to it) Rooms were super clean; bed and bathroom linen was fresh and soft, (shampoo, cream rinse, hair dryer) all the kitchen accessories - even a washer / dryer downstairs! Free beach chairs, Styrofoam coolers, floatation devices and kick boards for kids and adults, free sunscreen (the good stuff - nothing cheap) The 2 crown jewels were a 2nd Floor patio with lounge chairs and a private rooftop terrace, BOTH overlooking the beach! The private upstairs terrace had a dozen padded lounge chairs with fresh towels, huge pool umbrellas, a big bar-like tile counter, and 2 plush pod-type sun loungers (w/ canopy) soft padded mattresses, and pillows!! We got "To-Go" dinner & a bottle of wine and sat upstairs in the cool breeze and watched the July 4th fireworks!! (while the crowds and traffic congestion ruled the streets below) LOL We couldn't stop laughing at how crazy it felt to NOT BE STUCK IN TRAFFIC and how lucky we were to be there!!!! NOTE: There is no pool, but "the ocean" was our pool!! It's literally tucked in between all the expensive hotels (Westin, Marriot, Ritz Carlton) and steps away from all the restaurants, shopping and nightlife. It was amazing!! We plan on returning next year!! PS: We took a very cool scenic Water Taxi ride down the intercoastal and you board 2 blocks away!

Loved Snooze. Check-in was easy and the location is fantastic. There is a great view from the smaller 2nd floor terrace and the larger rooftop area. I appreciate how the owners haven't given in to the big hotels which surround the property. They have maintained a laid-back, beach feel of hotels past, but the rooms are clean and updated. The only problem we had was not having someone on property 24/7 and having our key to our room fail. We did not have our phones on us as we had been out in the water. Luckily fellow travelers let us use their phone and the problem was settled quickly by property managers. Lesson learned. We have already talked about returning to the area and would definitely stay at Snooze again!

The room was clean with a good sized fridge. There was direct across the street access to the beach and free chairs and towels provided by the hotel. Michael was very helpful!

Cons: 1. Rain shower head is needed. Has a regular shower head. So if you don’t want to get your hair wet, you’ll need to bring a cap. 2. Better coffee and coffee maker. Room has a 4-cup maker and the coffee is generic. Good thing is Starbucks is next door. If you like Starbucks. 3. Replace Mattress and frame. Big sags in both. 4. No maid service. Stayed 3 nights. 5. Parking is horrendous. 6. Curtains work but need repair. 7. Couch should be replaced. Has a slip cover and I don’t want to see what’s under it! Pros: 1. Great view. Unobstructed of the Atlantic. That’s what you’re paying for. 2. No resort fee. 3. Good size well laid out room Sufficient kitchenette. 4. Decor is basic but nice. 5. Only $10/day parking. 6. Great location. Close to the shops but far enough away to not hear the nightlife. 7. Safe. No concerns whatsoever of fearing for our safety. 8. Rooftop deck is cool. 9. Great restaurant next door which the manager recommended (thank you!). 5-stars. It was our first time in Lauderdale and if we come back we will likely choose someplace else. Not because Snooze wasn’t good enough. But because we like to support other small businesses. With that if you want to see the Atlantic Ocean from your bed, this room / hotel is an option.

I loved how close we were to the beach! The room was small but cozy! Small room. I knew what I was booking.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

I had a great experience at Snooze. The guy working the front desk was very friendly and informative and the rooms were clean. The ocean front location of the property is also a plus. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

This is really more of a motel than hotel. I wish j had known and seen this before I booked. Staff leaves at 6pm. The restaurant next door is nice with good food. And the location was good. Right across from the beach.

I like the low key feel
