The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale

We were upset to find out all ofnthe hidden charges upon check out. We were not made aware of the cost for valet. If your a gist at the resort why should you be charged tk park your car. Had we known about the charge for parking we would have used uber instead of renting a car. And the resort fee got us good. Why should there be a charge to stay at the resort if they already paid for our stay.? Again resort was fine. Rooms were fine hidden fees. I don’t agree on. If they’re gonna charge you hidden fees, they should be known known while you’re doing your booking.

Exactly what one would expect from the namesake. I have had hundreds of hotel stays, including 5 star hotels. And even then sometimes you don’t get what you paid for, especially in South Florida (hit or miss with employees). I can’t say one negative thing about my stay here. Definitely not for someone on a budget but if I dug deep I couldn’t find one negative thing to say and would definitely visit here again.

Loved our stay! The ocean view rooms are beautiful. The staff made all the difference at every level - going above and beyond to make our stay special. From the front desk to the concierge to the restaurant staff to the awesome pool servers - especially Veronica and Leslie - they each took extra special care of us. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches for our little birthday girl and the way they treat children in general with fruit plates and little surprises. The animal show at the pool was sensational. The young woman who ran it was so knowledgeable and it was clear how much she loved her job and the animals. Being able to get up close to them was such a treat. We will definitely be back!

I had just been in a really bad car accident and totaled a Mustang and have my dog with me. And I was in a lot of pain and discomfort as I just missed a Brooks and Dan concert I really appreciated how kind everybody was to my dog and myself. Thank you Ritz Carlton.

The staff was friendly too and the breakfast at the restaurant was fresh.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale! The beautiful ocean views, luxurious atmosphere, and attentive staff made the experience truly special. The location is perfect, and the pool and beach areas were absolutely beautiful. Everything felt relaxing, elegant, and upscale. I would definitely stay here again! 🥂🌴✨

Incredibly poor experience from start to finish. Staff is not helpful, defers to 3rd parties for all issues whether it’s in the resort fee or not, we got stuck on the skybridge due to both elevators breaking, the room smelled and house keeping was not thorough, food is lackluster, and they let homeless people walk through - where one stared at the guests on the front patio. Save the headache and book elsewhere.

The Ritz Carlton Sarasota is hands down excellent. The moment I walked through the doors I was treated with respect and courtesy. The hotel is definitely 5 stars. The staff was spectacular and many remembered my family name. The restaurant food was delicious. The in room dining was above average. The room was very comfortable. The beach shuttle ran on time and it was just a short trip. The beach club and beach was great. I will come back. I truly enjoyed my stay.

They charged us for $55 every day, which they didn't explain in the first day and we didn't use any of those items and benefits as we didn't know. 🙄
