Stay was good and quiet ..

The property could have been maintained better—needed paint, some small bugs in the bathroom, a small leak from the roof, vending machines were not refilled during my week stay

Nice hotel close to the beach. Affordable and free parking

The property is very vintage Fort Lauderdale, which is a bad thing however, the rooms on the second floor have no elevator access which is a challenge for the elderly. I booked this room for my parents so it was disappointing to find out that there was no elevator, and there were also no refund so we were stuck with the place. Thank God it was only one night and the manager was really nice. Parking is very tight first come first serve and it’s only about nine spots.

Did not stay but have before. Most recently triple billed for cancelled res. Please consider delisting them. Dean

The room was not clean, and our stay was very disappointing. We stayed for two nights and unfortunately ended up getting bitten by what appeared to be bed bugs. When we brought this concern to the staff, they were dismissive and simply stated that the rooms are exterminated once a month. We expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and a more helpful response from the hotel.

charged me $100 twice and gave me a refund for only one for no reason!!!! Super madd never got that $100 left the room spotless

This place was a dump will never stay there again . Dirty and disgusting. The pictures are fake nothing like the pictures . Found termites in the shower and the wall cracking. Please don’t stay here !!

The location was wonderful right by the beach. Don't have to worry about parking just leave your room and go to the beach spend while days at the beach

Rooms were small, but comfortable. I had issues with my booking both the first and second time I booked my vacation here and each time It just felt unresolved, one of the staff I remember being super friendly however one of them is actually just very unkind and unhelpful.

Ive been staying here for 4 years and have never had a bad experience other than not being able to find a parking spot on an after hours arrival.

Very low key very minimal hotel. You get what you pay for.

Roaches, but that is normal for Florida I was told….Just ain’t no way, I slept with the lights on last 3nights

Hard bed, 2 pillows per bed, room wasn’t cleaned for 3 days, strong weed odor from other room, door lock would get stuck, had to wait until 8am to get coffee downstairs, limited parking space, had to ask for parking pass Pros: 5 minute walk to beach, air conditioned

The first time I stayed there last year I didn’t have an issues. These last 3 days were absolutely terrible. No linen in the bathroom I went to the first desk he informed me someone would bring some to the room . Hours later I went to ask again and was told the owner stop supplying because people kept stealing the towels. There was sewage smell and no drinking water on the property.

This little hotel was a secret jewel years ago. I have sent friends to stay here several times. It had a B&B charm and the location is terrific, a block off the beach. Now it looks more like a no-tell hotel. The outside courtyard reeked of smoke. Check in was most confusing. I arrived 15 minutes after the lobby closed. I followed the directions for after-hours check-in. The lobby door was open with reservation receipts spread on the desk. I had to go behind the desk to figure out how to check in. I called a phone number there, but it was a contract AC guy. I clicked the mouse and checked myself in on the computer on the desk, where I could have accessed everyone’s information. I took one of several plain white key cards. It was odd like being pranked. The King Suite had a bed and night stands. It was sparse to put it nicely. There was a console table and another storage table. The only seating was the bed. One lamp had no bulb and there were no washcloths. The wires from the wall mounted TV were hanging from underneath it along with the dangling cable box. The refrigerator had a giant rusted out spot on the front. The worst things were 1. There was absolutely no HOT WATER, and 2. There was this loud generator sounding motor going all night which was most annoying. The bed was excellent, very comfortable. The air conditioner worked great as well. We made the best it, but I doubt I will be returning. I am sad and disappointed by the current condition of The Drift Hotel.
