Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown

Hotel was nice. Pool great. In a good area.

Close to where I needed to be, Valet parking attendants were very nice, front desk staff very nice, clean room, comforable bed, TV set up was odd but worked.

I’d also suggest being a bit more intentional with the music volume. If there isn’t a party happening, there’s really no reason for it to be blasting. On our first day, it was loud enough that we could hear and feel the music from our room. It wasn’t constant, but the volume seemed to go up and down quite a bit, so it could be a little startling when a track suddenly came on at full volume. Otherwise, zero complaints. We had a great stay!

The staff - specially Jorge was terrible. Apparently tu this is not a “full service hotel” whatever that means. You had no crystal glasses in the room you had to ask for water at the front desk. Honestly is was a terrible experience. I will never stay there again. Book somewhere else.

Location Bed, no toiletteries, breakfast, terrible old bar on roof, noisy ac, clogged sink ( ac and sink were never repaired even though I asked), no water in the room.

I had a good stay, enjoyed the rooftop bar area. There was no event so it was chill for a Friday night.

Water would splash out during showering. We observed that there was an area on the pool that was used as a storage for broken outdoor chairs, dead/dying plants. In the lounge area of the pool, during the day you could see that the fabrics were not clean.
