Crowne Plaza Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruiseport by IHG

We have eaten at the on site restaurant twice as we stayed a the adjacent hotel previous times. Yesterday our flight was canceled so we never made it to what was supposed to be our first stay here. However I still recommend this place because it's clean, friendly staff, and they even offered to refund us!

We liked the closeness to airport and cruise port. For the price of the stay, breakfast could have been included.

Every thing was good.

The beds were too high. It was difficult for me to get into the bed with the depth of the mattress. I’m only 5 feet tall and I practically needed a stepstool to get into the bed.

The property was perfect. The check in was seamless. My room was much bigger than expected. 5 stars all around.

The location is convenient, staff are lovely and friendly, and the amenities were adequate.

We had a hiccup with another hotel, and this hotel stepped up. They made it pleasant and were very helpful. The staff was amazing.

Everything was perfect they helped a lot with shuttles to the airport and arranging teansportion to our cruise port check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly 10/10 experience no issues will return

The property was in a nice location but I had problems with the cleanliness. There was hair from past guests and I had to request a cleaning of the bathroom (especially the shower) when I arrived. I didn’t use any amenities but the pool deck was nicely setup and could be viewed from the elevators. Upon check out, I found out that I was charged $20 a day for parking. I wish that was explained at check in so I wouldn’t have been so surprised when I got my bill.

Good airport shuttle and good hospitality

So I agreed to their instructions to wait in the parking area and they'd call me...it was almost an hour late while my 2 young children and wife were sleeping from a long travel day. When I checked again they said they'd tried to call but didnt get through. Then if that wasn't enough...we found a roach in our room and they had to.move us...which meant waking up my small children and carrying luggage up to another floor. Then they wouldn't even do the smart thing and offer some resolve..a voucher....no they were like and also pay for this.parking. Never going back

Only issue was 1 elevator was down so took longer to get to and from floors

I just wish the staff was a little more inviting, warm, and interacted more with the guests. For example, “Welcome to the Crowne Plaza hotel. Please, bear with me. I will be right with you.”
