We’ve been coming to Lani Kai for a few years now and we are always happy with the service, the staff are very friendly and the beach front is the best, I truly recommend this hotel

Had a great time! Great location right on the beach, every room looks out at the Gulf. Staff was friendly. Will be staying there again in the future.

Everything was as described. The property is older but has been updated. For the price it's a good beach town hotel and has a good l location. The beach is very large in front of yhe hotel too so there is plenty of room for many people. The beach chairs and umbrellas shown in pictures are not part of the hotel and to use them it is a separate cost. We had lunch at the open air rooftop restaurant which was fun as they have swinging chairs and the food was good (bar food). There are other restaurants that are close/walkable too. Overall the front desk staff was satisfactory but only one of them was actually nice and helped us out by providing beach towels since we arrived before the official check in time. We got beach drinks at one of the bars on the ground floor and they were all very nice. We did not use the pool, it was pretty small and along the beach side sidewalk which is not private to the hotel.

Love the vibe at the Lani!

The location is great. You can walk by the beach directly from the elevators. We asked for our room to be cleaned several times but they mixed up the request and finally nobody came. They put music all day and is quite loud. Other than that, the place is great if you want to go on a few beach days. There are also some restaurants at walking distance from the hotel.

Beds are not soft but they are ok. Staff was very helpful.

Suites are well worth it
-
Hidden fees and double fees. Resort fees that included parking but when checking in an additional $20.00 per day for parking. Web site shows complimentary beach towel but resort fees include daily fee for beach towels. Price quoted does not match the reservation price. Charges are increased after checking in.

This was our first time staying here. We had a beautiful beachfront room with a spacious balcony. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the A/C was cold. What more can you ask for.. They do play music all day but when the balcony doors are closed, you hear nothing. I would definitely return to this resort.

It was the worst stay, the bed was not good, everything was just extremely uncomfortable and not clean. Had to sleep on the floor…

The umbrellas and chairs should be included in the beach / hotel fees. Also, parking is too much and should only be charged if you are doing valet parking. Two tvs should be in the suites to accommodate families. This is my first time there in celebration of my wedding anniversary and my wife wasn’t enthused. I didn’t enjoy breakfast there two days in a row. Please update the towels. The view from the balcony was great.

My husband and kids stayed during the week. It was very peaceful and everyone was so nice. The property had everything to do and more and we will definitely be staying again.

Beach view was spectacular!
-
The room was simple and clean and functional for sandy bodies, the balcony and view over the beach was outstanding, the walk from room to beach takes about 90 seconds, and the beach itself is phenomenal. It’s a tasteful party beach for families with volleyball and music from the bar and interesting people that leave you alone, and the shore is super soft sugar sand. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and can’t wait to go back.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food service exceeded expectations for food taste, quality and value. I would recommend having bar soap in the soap dish at the sink.

Great place to stay.

Going back in a few months...

The music is why to loud. We were above the bar and could NOT have a conversation on the balcony. When you at the bar, you have to yell at the bartender to tell them your order. Other than that everything was wonderful.
