Spark by Hilton Fort Myers

Horrible is all I can say. Please don’t stay here false advertisement everywhere

The smoke detector started chirping around 9PM, so I went to the desk and asked if I could either get new batteries or if the gentleman could come up and check it out. Once he saw the detectors we took the batteries out of both the smoke detector and the CO2 detector. He then came back with the same type of batteries for the CO2 detector, which I knew weren't new because I have a lot of experience with those detectors and you can not buy those batteries that they come with. He then handed me the 9 volt for the smoke detector and I swapped them out. Mind you, I did this not the employee. At about midnight it started chirping again, then at 2,4, and 7AM. At that point I was beyond annoyed and went back to the front desk. They sent the maintenance man up and he just took the detector out and said he would replace it when I leave. Upon checking out, I asked for the manager and the front desk employee told me he was in a meeting. First they told me he gets in at 10AM and it was 10:11AM when I was at the check out counter. I then asked for the corporate number because no one there could help me and the gentleman said that he does not have that and I need to look it up. I have never in my life left any kind of review about a place, but this seemed to be necessary for what took place. I hope this gets to where it needs to in order to get better service.

Frontline people were not very friendly .. no one smiles. Toilet ran all night Property was very clean. Didn’t feel much like a Hilton experience more like a best western or a days inn.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Close to shopping centers. Nice and quiet also.

Great services, Dunkin and Starbucks are very close and Publix. Everything was convenient

Wonderful

The Easy Grab breakfast was convenient and a nice way to start the day. Parking was also a huge plus, as there was always a spot available, making it easy to come and go without any hassle. The hotel’s location is another highlight. It’s centrally located, making it easy to get to the beach, outlet stores, restaurants, and shopping areas. The Wi-Fi was reliable and worked well during our stay. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a lovely stay! The staff members were wonderful, breakfast was plentiful, our room was clean and quiet. For a quick one night stay, what more do you need? I would definitely stay here again.

Overall Hotel was VERY POOR....When we checked in our room had no Towels at all!!! We did however get some towels but when we asked for some Bath mats the guy at the desk said they didn't use Bath mats and to use our other towels as a mat...but in the morning the maid said he was looney because they have and use Bath mats! Also we need Toliet tissue and again the Clown at the desk told me there wasn't any toliet paper at all in the hotel as was for the same with the trash bags l!!! So we had to go but my toliet paper...Unreal huh!!! All this from a Hilton...Go Fugure Overall Hotel was VERY POOR....When we checked in our room had no Towels at all!!! It was one of the only hotels that would let us check in at 18 which was very kind. The facility was very nice and clean as well as the rooms were very clean and organized upon arrival. It was a very nice location and near many restaurants as well as not too bad of a drive to the beaches nearby. The pool was clean and comfortable to lounge in while we enjoyed our stay. The staff was kind and helpful with any questions or concerns arose.

Traveling to different cities and hotels in Fl is my hobby and an all time favorite of mine for me and my family. First flag, was the SPARK sign out front barely lit. Tells me about the upkeep of the property. Soon as we enter the room, bug in shower and water smelly. May not have been used for awhile. Overall, The stay was ok, clean for the most part however we didn’t have a functioning toilet until the next morning. We also were charged after checkout for “stained” towels. It was almost as if I could have predicted some type of extra charge but no accountability for a dysfunctional toilet. Will I stay again, no unfortunately because there’s so much more to the area. For the price, meh you get what you pay for. You can still find similar deals and better comfort. Not far from Bell tower, one of my favorite shopping centers on this coast.
