Beal House in Fort Walton Beach consists of 100 guest rooms – 60 with balconies overlooking the Gulf – along with a well-equipped fitness center, an outdoor pool and direct beach access. The Remedy, a beachfront restaurant and bar, serves up a coastal fresh menu along with plenty of craft cocktails and local brews. The name honors the legacy of Dr. James Hartley Beal (1861 – 1945), a fascinating man of many accomplishments. Great staff and view!

We've never experienced anything like this before. Our room wasn't cleaned for two days in a row, and we had to repeatedly request clean towels, have the trash emptied, and ask for paper cups and other basic amenities. Considering the price, the service was far below our expectations. While a few staff members were polite, the overall level of professionalism was disappointing. For the level of service we received, we could have stayed at a much less expensive hotel and had the same—or even a better—experience.

Friendly staff, beautiful sandy beach, an especially clean room, and great food at surprisingly affordable (for a beach hotel) prices! We loved it!
-
Clean, the restaurant was our highlight!!!! Ashley, Jamie, and the boy waiters were amazing!!!! Your ad was misleading. It showed a balcony but that is not what we got. We thought for the money a motel with a view would be worth it

I was very pleased with the stay and everything offered.
-
close to the beach high cost everything add fee like parking fee, beach chair, … even hotel coffee
-
Location and the staff The paper coffee cups in room were not microwaveable…the WiFi was awful… had to pay to park…refrigerator in room TINY and the luggage carts need to be replaced with something that is more manageable

We had an excellent 4 nights thanks to the A+ service from the staff, the easy beach access, the delicious shrimp & tacos from The Remedy restaurant, and the comfort of the bed. I would most definitely come back!

I left my diamond earrings in the room but apparently never found.......

There was a male at check in and he was very rude. I asked for pool towels and the basically threw them down. Terrible customer service. Everyone else were nice. Balcony views are amazing.

Great view. Right on the water. Very satisfied with the room upgrade The room was clean and quite comfortable. Great water flow in the shower …. I wouldn’t purchase the breakfast option again. Would expand the menu selections to include a hot cereal option and avocado toast would have been nice. We picked this palace for proximity and a full bar. Neither disappointed. Room cleaning didn’t happen one day. Tv didn’t work, thermostat didn’t work. Both were repaired quickly, however.

This was a great hotel, my only complaint was you had to pay to self park.
