Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Walton Beach

We had a great time! Great location, staff, pools and beach access. We will be back again!!

I booked from July 1 to 5. I was able to get an extra day off so decided to go down a day early. No issues. When it came time to “check out” of my first room they told me numerous times that housekeeping would be doing our room as soon as it was available knowing we were there. They told me numerous times they would text me when my room was ready and we checked the phone number to be sure they had the right number. We spent the day by the pool and it was HOT and we were getting burned even with sun screen, it was 3 pm and we have had enough of the sun. I did not get any texts yet and decided to go check. The person at the desk said my room has been ready and was apologetic for no one texting me. Gave me 2 drink vouchers and 4 meal vouchers. He also said he was going to get rid of my parking charges found out at checkout still on my bill. We get to our room, the bed is about a foot away from the ac unit!!!! So anytime the ac would come on it would freeze us out, so either we froze or we would have to shut it off and get hot. No happy medium. Normally there is a chair and ottoman next to the ac unit but for some reason the bed was close to it. So we didn’t get to sleep all week. Our last night there we ordered pizza from downstairs. I do NOT know how you can burn a top of a pizza and have the bottom uncooked, but they found a way!!!! It was BURNT and RAW at the same time. Waitress didn’t charge us for it. That night my husband and I were SICK in the bathroom all night!

This experience he was very good felt like I was on a resort in the Caribbeans. Tiki bar is a good addition lazy river and restaurant was good . Only complaint I would say was the power light in the room is too bright when you are sleeping. However I will be back again. It was so worth the stay. Staff was on top of everything especially Dwayne he was my guide for everything I need to know and what I wanted to do while I was there. I recommend this hidden gem

The amenities were fantastic and convenient. Especially the lazy river-style pool, which was the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time at the tiki bar. The bartenders were friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is right on the beach, making beach access effortless, and it’s conveniently located just a short drive from Destin Beach and two harbor boardwalks…so exploring the area was easy. A special thank you to Maggie at the front desk! She greeted us with a warm welcome and took the time to explain everything we needed to know for a smooth, stress-free first visit to Ft. Walton Beach. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be staying here again!

Nice pool

Room and pool are fantastic-everything was very clean and comfortable! Hotel was undergoing renovations/construction while we were there and that was a bit messy and inconvenient periodically in the public areas. The overall area was not great due to the huge amounts of road construction. It’s difficult to get in and out of the hotel driving and not very walkable. The hotel beach is great!

No complaints at all, we had kids in tow and enjoyed the beach being family friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

Hotels.com completely botched our reservation. 100% recommend booking with the hotel directly. The hotel staff came to the rescue. Made our entire trip go from what else could go wrong, to what went right. Rooms were clean, really! For a beach property, that's asking an awful lot, but they were honestly clean. you can see the staff day and night working to keep it this way. We took advantage of the beach cabanas, breakfast at the restaurant, and outside drinks. all great options to have and worth the money. The lazy river and pool were a perfect compliment. We would stay here again and the kids agreed.

Awesome place to stay. Great location

Room wasn't ready at check in time. Then given the wrong room. Finally the right room had no working exhaust fan, so the room was sticky and humid the entire stay. Dust was caked on the fixtures in the room. Carpet was so dirty, it left the bottom of our feet black. The pool was the only thing we enjoyed about the hotel. The pizza from the restaurant has no taste and was expensive. The tiki bar burger was decent. Fries had no flavor. Parking was $20 per night instead of the advertised $15 per night. I have had much better experiences from much cheaper hotels.

Staff was very friendly. Our biggest disappointment was our king size bed. It was so uncomfortable. There was no support whatsoever. For the price we paid for the gulf and beach view a good nights sleep would have been so nice. My wife and I woke up several times during the night with back pain. We expressed our concern with the staff and they sent up three very thin blankets to help with the uncomfortable mattress. Which didn’t even phase the problem. Very disappointed.

The location was great! The food, beach, swimming pool… all high quality! I would definitely stay there again!!

Started rough because we had a water leak in our room, however, staff was awesome, gave us an upgraded room and made it a good situation overall and overall were very helpful. Children had a blast.

Everything was perfect from the room to the view to the pool and staff. Everything is great.

Place is nice. Enjoyed the restaurant and amenities but our rooms shower or sink didn’t train when showering. Will stay there again
