The location was perfect, a short, safe walk into town made all the amenities available. The room was exceptional and the facilities of the accommodation including the pool were perfect. The staff were brilliant. N/A

The room was superb. The pool area was substantial with plenty of optional shade. Good choice of food for breakfast, starting with set continental breakfast followed by cooked options of your choice. All well presented and cooked. The room we had (Suite 1) was superb, large, well furnished and comfortable. The bathroom, recently refurbished was nicely presented but a few very minor niggles eg. no door hooks, no towel ring near the basin, the basin was obstructing one of the windows and the other window and it’s external shutter wouldn’t shut - this occasionally proved to be a problem regarding privacy. There was also no shaver point, although I didn’t see many of these on our travels around South Africa.

Really lovely room as photos .the location was easy to town and good location for the wine tram .the staff was really lovely and helpful .breakfast was great I think the bathroom towels such be improved and bathroom toiletries to be improved

Staff are superb, can’t do enough for you. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped . In good location, easy walking distance into the village centre Although we had a fantastic stay (third visit) the only improvement we could suggest are bigger towels in the bathroom.

The breakfast and pool area were truly outstanding We could walk to the village but recommend using Uber coming home which was very efficient and good value

They also offered choices of cooked breakfast. Warm croissant and muffin. Fantastic

The location was amazing! Fantastic breakfast! Loved the pool area. The room was lovely, and they used Rain products was an added bonus - just a nice touch which I really appreciated to make something as small as taking a shower even nicer. Nothing, everything was fantastic!

We loved the whole experience of our time in Franschhoek. Residence Vive la Vie was the icing on the cake. The staff were obliging, friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and the accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nothing.
