Great breakfast.

Location excellent, building beautiful and historic, staff v friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast too

Breakfast was as big as you needed or wanted it to be, served on the lovely out on the patio, overlooking the delicious pool. The location was terrific for general walkabouts, food finding as well as a couple of wineries. Safe parking on the street was a bonus as well. The constant locking of the front door on entering and exiting was boring, but I do understand that a Yale lock could be problematic however

The host and all staff were great. Attentive when needed. The room was lovely and the garden area and pool also. Breakfast was excellent. The location could not be better, just one road back from the main street. A perfect weekend getaway. It would have been nice for the room photo's on booking to match what we actually got. Our rooms were nice, but not as we kind of expected when we first booked. Overall, the stay made up for that and overall we were very happy.

A wonderful place with delightful and friendly hosts. The room was full of character and comfortable and benefitted from a perfect location close to the centre and the wine tram!

Breakfast was great. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Location is very central, just off the main road were one finds all the shops and restaurants. Nothing much to say.

Lovely room with a mezzanine for the kids and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi was terrible, while we were there, (apparently there was an issue they were trying to fix) and the tv was temperamental. Neither of these things made a huge impact to our holiday bit as we didn’t have data roaming the WiFi was a little frustrating.

Carol and the rest of the staff were incredibly warm, inviting and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Location was brilliant- so close to town (literally 5min walk to the main road with restaurants etc), yet a serene and calm oasis away from noise. Beds very comfortable. Room nice and large for us and our kids. Kids loved the pool and the space to lounge around the garden. Room is a little dated - some areas needing painting. Bathroom showing some signs of humidity affecting painting etc but nothing that impacted our stay at all.

Beautiful building and beautiful well thought out landscaped gardens. The view from the garden rooms over the pool area were lovely from our bed in the morning. Perfect location in the centre of town. Helpful friendly staff. Nicely decorated in muted calming tones. The bed (although comfortable) was a little too small in length. My husband's feet were hanging off the end. The bathroom had a small table in it but it would benefit from something a bit larger to accommodate toiletries, we were putting things on the floor.

Great location in central Franschhoek and beautiful sunny courtyard garden with pool where we enjoyed breakfast. Lovely staff. Room a bit small. Would request courtyard room next time.

Beautiful guesthouse in the heart of Franschhoek. Very laid back, calm venue with amazingly helpful and friendly staff. The guesthouse is quite small, not many rooms which gives it a nice intimate feel. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing to note is that was that the bed we had was quite short so our feet hung off the end (but we are both quite tall). But the bed was lovely and big width ways.

The hotel staff were very friendly indeed and service was superb, lovely greeting too from Carol. The rooms were beautiful and location was very close to the main street. Probably the best place we stayed on our trip and will most certainly return again on our next trip to South Africa. Nothing!

Beautiful property in a great location. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Everything was great!
