Delicious breakfast with cold buffet and pre-ordered hot dish.

The staff tried to correct the problem with the air com and the lock of the door when I asked them to. The air con did not work in the room we were first placed in; the door of the next room did not lock properly. I did not expect that there would be no gardens or that there would be so many stairs and no lift.

the proximity to all the key places and we really like the peace there we need to pay for the mini bar consumption, which i think for the price of the hotel should have been free. just my opinion but all was good

Helpful and accommodating staff. Clean, and comfortable rooms.Excellent location walking distance to many things. Very good breakfast.

Staff, breakfast, location all fantastic. Hotel needs a good face lift. Room while clean was very shabby, with doors not shutting properly and cracks in the walls, especially doorframes. Laundry makes a racket at night. I asked for shaded parking, and it was not really because the creeper could not grow over the hot metal framework. Why not just put is a sun-filtering cover? Tables were so wonky that when using just a knife and fork the table wobbled and spilt the coffee.

They have complimentary shuttle to wine tram station. Size of the room was decent, bathrobes in the room. Reception and breakfast area is in the same room. Toilet is behind reception. These common areas lacked tidiness, a litte bit ruined down. Breakfast very simple - you can choose from the menu and as well they have mini buffet. Buffet food needs to be placed a little bit more appealing. In our room during the night was strong and unpleasant drainage smell, I could not fell asleep quite along because of that. AC wasn't working.

Terrific view over the town, vineyards to the mountains and lovely the fire on a chilly night. Breakfast catered for most tastes and there is a small bar area to enjoy a couple of drinks Staff were friendly and helpful It is unclear how you enter the property if arriving by car. Entry is through a security gate that was unmanned and delayed response from using the buzzer. Also the reception, breakfast room/bar and about half the rooms are upstairs, while we had help with out bags it could be a challenge for folks with mobility issues. Finally, we had something wrong with the drain in the shower which resulted in an unpleasant in the room. This was sorted out but took time.

Lovely modern room with a great tub!

A lovely property with very friendly staff and perfectly located for the Literary Festival that I was attending. The room was delightful and warm, beautiful little fire place and lovely bathroom.

Construction was going on, and we were not notified that it would be happening. For 2 days hammering and drilling. I was traveling with a client and had made arrangements to move accommodations due to the mayhem. Our last morning, work Crews were cutting channels across the entirety of the patio outside our door, to run electrical for new lighting. On top of that, they were testing the fire alarm system. I’d stayed here before and had a lovely experience, but this entire situation embarrassed me, professionally. I was not offered a refund or make good when I had to unexpectedly move to another guest house, so I also lost profit, ensuring my client had a relaxing last few days in the Winelands.

Friendly staff and beautiful rooms

Great location in the centre of town…..2 mins walk to the main street…..10 mins walk to the wine tram….. Nothing
-
Location No relax communal area

Room 6 called Sapphire, had a superb view of the mountains and you could lie in bed and look at this magnificent view. Spacious clean bathroom. We loved this room. The only negative was that there were a lot of steps, firstly to access the hotel reception and, secondly, more steps to access the bedrooms. This may prove more difficult to the elderly or those with mobility issues.

Central location with very welcoming and helpful staff. The room was super comfortable and we would definitely stay there again

Our room was excellent with a lovely bed and a view of the beautiful Franschhoek mountains. The bathroom is well designed with a bath and a great shower. The best thing is that the hotel is in the centre of the quaint Franschhoek village, a few steps away from great restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Nothing I can thinks of.

great service from you team, front desk was very nice. just look at the exit pipe of the fire place, maybe a bit of paint around it for the water damage. everything, we enjoyed our stay a lot, we will use you again if we around that area. thanks so much for a wonderful stay, we thought your staff was great.
